Having a good day today with my one team - three batsman scoring 60 plus including one century. Plus some wickets and catches. Still have some playing in Lancs vs Notts too.

Wow. First day of OD cup games were a BLAST :D

Stevens, Denly ,Clark, Duckett, and Finn and were pretty flat.

My best performers seem to be the kiwis Patel, Henry and Taylor.

I scored over 850 in one team. Unfortunately it was my second worst out of 8 (now fourth worst). :(

Really? Which Yorkshire Star would that be then?
Durham would have qualified from Northern group last year if they hadn't had that deduction. Fine I agree they should have been penalised but not in every competition.

Also a problem with picking Yorks is that it is a late start.
Anyone else going to this match?

In case anyone still has him in any teams (I'm looking at myself here), Gary Ballance is set to miss several One Day Cup matches "for personal reasons".

Thought I'd had a reasonable day, yesterday. On looking at the scores this morning, I found this not to be the case. All three teams going in the wrong direction. This notwithstanding I have looked at individual player's points and I think that several of them are wrong. Those that are in my teams are Robinson, Harmer & Henry.

Robinson 3 for 31 with one maiden = 79pts. Given 72pts.
Harmer 2 for 38 with one maiden @ less than 4 runs/over = 63pts. Given 56pts.
Henry 2 for 30 with two maidens @ less than 4 runs/over = 74pts + 3 runs batting = 77pts. Given 63pts.

Bit anal, I know, but hopefully they will be rectified (unless I have made an error)

Now off to see what can be done about Renshaw and Virdi!!

It looks like they have failed to update their scoring to account for a maiden being 10 points and not 3 (which I think it was last year).

Hadnt noticed the wrong scores but you are correct - they are wrong.

It looks like they gave 3 points for a Maiden rather than 10. In your examples there is a 7 point difference for the total number of maidens bowled by each player. 1 Maiden 7 points down. 2 Maidens 14 points down.
So I looked for a player who was not one of your examples who bowled a Maiden BA Raine was first I found his points calculated to 121 but he was only awarded 114!

So I think they awarded 3 for aMaiden (same as scoring a six in batting!).

I demand a recount.

Anyone ekse find the site sluggish to say the least this morning?

I think it should be 10 for a maiden in T20 not this, you could get 3 or 4 maidens score 30 or 40 points, could be an unbalance. But at the end of day its the same for everyone so not really that bothered, just think its a mistake to do this. I think 3 is about right, maybe 5. But as I say not overly fussed.

Looking at yesterdays scorecards there was 1 maiden in Lancs/Notts - 0 in War/Der - 3 in Nor/Lei - 5 in Sus/Ken and 1 in Msex/Ess
10 Maidens involving 9 players out of a potential total of 500 overs - so pretty rare about 2% - obviously based on just 1 day.
But it does state 10 points in the rules so it has to be 10 points and nothing else.

Yes I know its in the rules just an opinion that's all. Your one day snippet has not changed that.

On a much more interesting note Pope gets a duck as Surrey start poorly.

Good to see Somerset getting stuck into the Surrey openers...but how strange to see Trego at number eleven on the card!

Davey was in the team but must've been replaced in the warm-up. Tregs is pretty much a batter only in the 50 over stuff last year; well be interesting to see if he bowls today.

Edit: I must've imagined it - acc to twitter, Tregs was in the team and will bat at 3. That's if Somerset lose a wicket chasing down what could be a miserly total.

Edit 2: He's just bowled a wicket maiden. There you go. That's 35 / 28 points already.

Somerset dishing out a Right Royal tanking! I bet Trego wishes he hadn't been third up!

I see that Coad is playing and that The Cad is opening...interesting..

I gather that this is a big day for Colley....good man...

It’s the Paul Collingwood pavilion at Durham, Beefy Botham presented it to him before the game, congrats to him, great pro!!

Missed start this morning so didn’t see if Davey was in or not. All I do know is that he is still in my team, need to get rid! Surrey taking a pummelling though
