Unless that was a joke, you don't choose the division.
You're in 3rd, with me
Given the new players, it won't be the bottom one anymore, there should be a 4th (provided all come back)
This meaning we have the chance to drop 1 more rung

We can't delete the old leagues, but we can rename the old teams in these leagues so we don't get confused with several dead teams with the same names as current ones.
Just go to Admin  Team Details in the bottom right corner of the 'My Team' screen.

I'm keen. I've never played before and I'm an Aussie living in Australia so there's a bit of a time difference. Is that problematic?

Shouldn't be, although obviously some of the in-game deadlines will be late at night.

If you need someone to admin the new 4th division league then I can do it, although I'm happy if anyone else wants to do it instead.

At present, we have 21 players, which is one 6 team division and three 5 team divisions. If any of the three missing managers confirm their places, the divisions will be adjusted accordingly.

I'll confirm all the final details at 1pm UK time on Monday.

Would you like a summary of how FPL draft works? Or how the sidegame works? :-)
sidegame :D
Each division is made up of six (or sometimes five) managers. The season lasts for ten weeks, so everyone plays each other twice. At the end of the season, the top two in each division are promoted and the bottom two are relegated.

You can see the proposed make-up of the divisions for the second season in the opening post. These will change slightly if anyone decides to drop out.

I hope that helps :-)
Alright, I'm in. I just have one request - can we not draft too late in the evening? Like, can we start before 9pm UK time? I'm from Europe so a 2 hour draft that starts at 10pm on a Tuesday would be a bit brutal. :D
The draft will take 45-minutes at most.

For me being a rookie, do we only have between 9pm for you guys (8am for me) til 9:01 to pick, or 60 seconds from when we hit a button or something? And if i'm a bit slow I just get the leftovers more or less? Or do we take it in turns so I have to be available for the whole draft time?

In turns, one player at a time. If you don't make a pick, the system picks your next available pick your list or by ranking.

If you take too long over a pick, you will get the next player on your wish list. If you haven't set up a wish list, you will get the highest ranked player still available.

However, you will also be marked as absent. If you want to continue being able to choose your own player, you MUST click the "I'm back" button before your next turn comes around.

I highly recommend making a wish list, it will help you a lot during the auction.

Oh ive not seen the " Im Back" button
they have made some changes over time, the new players in form page greets you and reminds to make some changes the info is getting more useful - only thing brasses me off keep having to go back and reset the lists after each transaction.

do you think they may try and make this game pay to play.?

i wont be able to make the draft, have to go do some work and 10am is a bit late however i will set up a watch list then i will let the computer pick the stragglers for me. Good luck everyone, i cant wait to see my team.

snakelike turns draft, you call it it's yours
Draft 1st Round order randomised, you only get to know it when it starts
(suggest frequent refresh, it's supposed to update real time but it happened that it froze on 0:00 at start time till I refreshed)
then snakelike

Ah ok. I also play fantasy NBA and our league has a real auction draft. But there's no way to set bid values in fpl so I was a bit confused. :D

It'd be useful to know the order in advance to prepare a strategy though.

edit: then again, maybe it wouldn't be that useful. I feel completely clueless. This is a lot harder than a fantasy NBA draft.
