Official Liverpool update on Milner, Clyne, Karius and Ward injuries (and Mane & Ings return)

James Milner.... is undergoing rehabilitation on a quad issue.... [and it is anticipated that he] will resume full training when Liverpool return to Merseyside in early August

Nathaniel Clyne is continuing treatment on a back problem, while Loris Karius and Danny Ward have missed both training sessions so far in Germany due to respective hip and back complaints.

....the returns of Danny Ings and Sadio Mane to full team training
.

EDIT - Squad update for 29/7 game:
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ben Woodburn, Marko Grujic and Danny Ings are all fit, but will undertake sessions with the backroom team.

Loris Karius (hip), James Milner (thigh), Nathaniel Clyne (hamstring) and Danny Ward (knee) are ruled out due to injury.

Klopp said it is "pretty much impossible" that Nathaniel Clyne will be ready for first league game.

He's on the way back but he's had no pre-season so far so, for him, it will not only be tight for Watford, it's pretty much impossible. So we have, in the moment, three options for this position: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe [Gomez] and Jon Flanagan.

Alexis Sanchez will miss Arsenal's opening Premier League match of the season against Leicester after suffering an abdominal strain in training....

......."He had a scan two days ago and he's out for a while. I don't know [how long he will be out] - two weeks, one more week. He will not be available.

"He will not play at Stoke."

Nathaniel Clyne possibly out for a 'significant period of time'.

Left out of CL Group Stage squad as ""It is pretty certain he'll not be available for the majority of the Champions League group matches."

Benjamin Mendy will take a late fitness test ahead of the Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk tomorrow night

Kompany has been missing since the international break, after injuring a calf playing for Belgium against Gibraltar.

He was expected to be involved against Palace at the weekend but was given extra time to recover from the problem.

Well that escalated quickly...

Benjamin Mendy is facing months on the sidelines after suffering suspected knee ligament damage.

Mendy confirmed as ruptured ACL.

Even Wenger wouldn't say he'll be back in a month.
