Finally used my first transfer and it was a crap one. Out went Kompany and in came Zappacosta. Sticking with Jesus as my only forward. 63 for the week. 256 in Total

Used another transfer to take kane out for aguero. City have some nice fixtures coming up.

Evening all, checking in. Not a bad week for me and now on 273. Didn't make the Davies switch and sticking with Dawson for now. I think my only concern is with my 'enabler' - Tom xmas Carroll, more like Scrooge. May look to upgrade, can Gross keep that form going?

Thinking of doing the same but will wait to see if Kane draws a blank in the early kick off (might as well get the 2 points at least) if he does I may go Aguero, though they're away to Chelsea the next week; no an easy fixture :?

Doing a transfer before a player plays is silly. For all we know Kane will score a hat-trick and Pep will 'rest' Aguero

I think pep may rest jesus. Played him in the week. Maybe with the plan to rest him at the weekend ready for champions league and Chelsea.

Out of interest what formations are fellow singles running with at the moment? I'm still on the 5-3-2 I started with and plan on sticking with that for now.
4 3 3 for me
standard 3 up top
pretty standard in the middle
and....

4-4-2 for me, Kane and Lukaku up front. Be nice to have Aguero too, but can't afford it at moment with Alli and Salah in midfield....

4-4-2 for me on 288.

No real surprises in my team. Have Aguero and Lukaku up top.

Debating whether to put in Walker or Mendy for Luiz. Any views appreciated

I think walker will have more crosses as he has Kdb on his side of the pitch. But watching mendy over the last couple of games he seems a superb crosser of the ball and has silva on his side... I think I'd go for mendy and bank the 0. 1m. They will both be rotated equally.

I'm on 343 formation. Got Cresswell pieters and tarkowski in defence. Aguero lukaku and kane up top!!

Thanks Jimbo. I could go either way with them. Head says Mendy, gut says Walker.

One thing is for sure, I'll choose the wrong one.

56 all out. 1 transfer used this weekend. Dropped about 2 hundred places. I get the feeling people are really burning those transfers. Slow and steady and all that. 312 for the season. Not bad

60 and done. 335 overall but 5 transfers used. I make no apologies for that. Allow myself 3 a month pre Christmas as a rule (means I've got one left this month!) Shaping my team to have 3 big guns up front as this year seems to have seen the return of the striker (and there's a prize for goals in my works league!)

58 this week, moved up to 2nd in my works league. I'd be top if Spurs didn't keep conceding :( Glad I hung on to Kane in the end though :)

Went for Mendy in the end (typical) blame my kids they were given the decision as I couldn't decide.

55 with 1 left. 343 with 3 transfers done.

But v tempted to go with 3 big guns upfront. But then what happens when the likes of Coutinho and Hazard start firing. Ahhh

Blimey mustn't post too early in the day. I'm 442 with Aguero and Lukaku. Not unhappy but you know what it's like - your head gets turned by the last big point scorer. Tempted to change Lukaku tbh. But sitting on things till next Int break.

I'm going to go lukaku to morata either next week or the following. Utd have palace then Liverpool so could be goal opportunities. Then Chelsea have a nice run of games. Not sure morata is going to do much Vs the big teams. He was very poor Vs arsenal.

I'm wondering about Lukaku too, which is amazing considering he has 6 goals in 6 games. I've become so spoilt by big hauls! That said, at the other end of the spectrum I have Tom Carroll, 11pts in 6 games. I know he's an enabler, but even that seems slow going..

I've got pieters at stoke... Playing LWB and going to play every game for them. Since I put him in he has got me 3 points in 4 games... And he's the same price as Jones!! I still have faith!

So the Aguero gamble didn't pay off. Back to Kane today I think.
Did you sub Aguero out in the end ?? TFF can be cruel  Up to 3rd in my works league, the guy in 2nd (whose team is set to public) still has the injured Pogba, hoping he hasn't noticed
I did sub out Aguero and have since put him back in again. I now have Kane, Aguero, and Lukaku as my front 3 so don't plan on tinkering with those unless one gets injured.

B*gger! Someone in my works league must have Hemed - back down to 3rd  we're equal on points but he has one more goal than me

Flying along at the moment, up to 6k overall with 77 all out for the week, which follows 73 last week, playing 5-3-2 with no Kane, Morata or Lukaku
