I shall be a single entrant again. Got to 3rd last year!! My aim this year is to not waste transfers!! But unfortunately I will... I just can't control myself!!

Third isn't wonderful if it is done by wasting transfers and then sinking like a stone. If you want to 'waste' transfers, you might as well so it in weekly/ monthly efforts.

FISO 500 (plug, plug) is the league for those wanting to get as high as possible.

Straight out of the blocks race to 500 pts. Means you can burn 5 transfers a week legitimately for about 2 months and see how high you get.... before sinking like a stone.

Stop tempting me with things like that murf. I must control myself better this year. My starting five man defence (who's great idea was that again?!?) and it's dismantling before Chrimbo did for me at the end of the season last time.

Anyway, I'm back once again for some ill behaviour and of course single entrant action. I managed to lose my sl on the last day of the season last year (not annoying at all!) so that must be rectified this year...hopefully. Looking forward to the usual moans, groans and enlightened discussion (ahem) from the single entrant crew. ;)

To be fair I was in the top 100 until Ibrahimovic and Phillips got injured and I was transferless. But I will try harder this year

I'm not sure as my interest faded with the transfers. Is there anyway of finding out?

Contemplating x3 Southampton defenders to start but with one team is that too risky? Those multis don't realise what a stress free existence their's is being able to cover all bases. :D

Hehe same issue here Yard. Current draft (likely to change and then will be dissapointed after the first two weeks :) )

Forster

Trippier
Soares
Dawson
Stephens

De Bruyne
Willian
Salah

Kane
Lukkaku
Morata

Once hazard is back he can slot if for willian and salah goes to loftus-cheek (if he plays). But that wont be till september

Do I still count as a single entrant if I put a team in championship TFF? The opportunity to pick Cameron Jerome is just too much!!!

Having the same Southampton defence discussions. Looking back it's always the defence that I muck up at the start, trying to fit the big boys in up front, so may allow myself a little more budget in the hope of a steadier first few games..

Great to be back after 2 months away recharging the batteries. First glance of player list and jesus the amount of choice. Seems to be more good on paper options than ever. Look forward to sorting it out for next friday

Ha ha, yes I thought as much, maybe a single (premier league) entrant. Surely the point is that I'm not one of those ghastly multi entrants able to spread players! :)

Anyway my team has 9 players and 2 final enabler choices:
Forster
Valencia, Bertrand, Trippier
Alli, KDB, salah
Lukaku, Kane

Plus one 2.6 (Stephens, Carroll or Loftus-Cheek)
Plus one 3.2 (Soares, Ritchie or Abraham)

If anyone wants to help with those final 2 I'd be much obliged!

I would go for Stephens since he just signed a big new contract. The other it is the question if you want so much in Southampton and if not i would for Ritchie

I think 2 saints will be enough. Not too painful if it all goes Pete tong!! I think Alonso is a must for anyone!!! He got 180 points and missed the first games. With there new additions they will be tight at the back! I don't really like any of there cbs and moses is a midfielder for some reason...

I give good advice but I haven't taken it. Here's my team. No doubt it will change 100 times before the start of the season. Ideally I'd like Trippier and Alonso.

Forster

Soares
Lowton
Stephens

Willian
Eriksen
De bruyne
Salah
Mane

Aguero
Lukaku

Very top heavy I know.
I could swap Soares and eriksen for Trippier and Alonso for Trippier and Alonso plus 0.6m

Think it all depends on what happens to VVD. If he stays prob not, if he goes maybe, unless they have anyone else lined up to replace him. Also not sure!

kinda seems to fit the bill mr blah 8-)

seeing a lot of salah on here
i would hold onto the reins there meself
yes, he did great in italy
but with chels he was pretty indifferent
and different leagues they are

personally, i like him, and wanted him to stay at chels
but i think it may take a while for him to bed back down in the premier
plenty of time to bring in then

spent more than 90 secs this time

forster
chill alon luiz ward

now he's had more time, antonio will have a stronger hold on a solid defence

alli coutin miliso (murfs favourite )

totts and pool will start strong
and murf shall choke on his cornflakes

kane - just a must have
moats - due to hit the ground running
defoe - boy score goals

how you siding singles?

My attempt. Must be about the 300th attempt...

Forster

Valencia
Alonso
Stephens

Kdb
Mane
Carroll
Salah
Eriksen

Lukaku
Jesus

I know I don't have 2 expensive strikers but I'm trying to do a team where I don't have to make any changes. All seem to be certain starters and shouldn't need changing anytime soon. That's the main reason I'm avoiding willian!!
