2018 SBru Pro14 - round 4 : Theo Vodkat continues to lead ....
Hi All
This is a 24 week long competition running from September thru to May roughly, running in parallel with the AVIVA Premiership (which starts in September). We will be running FISO Leagues in both. Feel free to participate if you are a member of FISO and please acknowledge your signing up here.
Note: Both Pro12 and Aviva matches can be difficult to predict due to the loss of regular 1st team players to Internationals during the season. With the World Cup coming up in September (and the 6x Nations in February/March) expect this influence to be greater this year.
As usual, the more the merrier Hope you all enjoy!!

Re: 2015 SBru Pro12 League (starts 4th September)
7 signed up so far ... keep 'em coming
usually 8-20 is a good number, but for rugby I'm guessing we'll do well to get 8-10.
I'm keeping this restricted to FISO members, so any FISO member feel free to drop in.
cheers,
Mac

Hi all, bit late joining up to your league but I've done the first 2 weeks in a general pool so would be great to join the FISO one.
Cheers.

Re: 2015 SBru Pro12 League - Trampie out of the blocks quickest
week 2 provides an opportunity for the virtually unknown MickMacPaddywack to gain a yellow cap (almost his first in all competitions all year) ahead of a cluster of tightly knit competitors including the new attendee salop27 (apologies to our French colleagues) SE and the usual suspects MetalWarlord and Trampie ...
Again, only for the short term MMP leads the pack ... better gloat while the opportunity lasts, cos its short term only ....

With nobody standing out from the rest, MickMacP continued to bob merrily on the top in his lilo, whilst the Sharks circled beneath him ...

Re: 2015-16 SBru Pro12 : Highgreenowl off to a swift start
week 3 into this comp and highgreenowl has set a cracking pace ... defending champion SE is puffing hard, trying to keep up, followed closely by McBear ....
Early days, I know, but a fairly hectic start leaves me still tying up me shoelaces ...

Re: 2015-16 SBru Pro12 (Holder: SE) wk5 and dewalsh makes a move ...
week 5 and dewalsh shows promise with a fine score, moving up to 3rd ... highgreenowl retains the lead, but the gap narrows considerably ...

wk 21 : Holder SE regains lead in a tightly contested finishing weeks
week 21 and a long overdue update ... (after a system crash & loss of all worksheets ... don't talk to me about backups )
... and the leaderboard now shows the reigning champ SE taking back the lead from deWalsh who remains along with highgreenowl the only remaining viable competitors to his crown, unless Stokie Bloke or MickMacP pull out an amazing finish over the next couple of weeks ...

Bad luck, there SE ... your good fightback into Top slot only lasted that one week. But it was a cracking competition nonetheless, which only had a ding-dong match between three main players who between them shared the lead for the 24 weeks of the competition.SE wrote:Doing my best for consecutive titles!

2017 SBru Pro12 - FINAL week
This was a cracking competition that went down to the wire, which had a ding-dong match between three main players who between them shared the lead for the 24 weeks of the competition:
In 3rd place, having led the league for 10 weeks, we have SE.
In 2nd place, having led the league for 5 weeks, we have dewalsh
but in 1st, having led the league for 9 weeks our winner overall and this year's CHAMPION is highgreenowl!!!
CONGRATS, man ... I look forward to the scrap next year when you defend this against the abovementioned
