Desert Trip (OAP-fest)

Post by Zimmerman »

Probably as sold out (metaphorically and actually) as you can get. The antithesis of Woodstock... But f'me, I'd well up for it!!!

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, £275 for three days.
Palm Springs, October.

Little one starts school in September so a none starter for me (although hoping a few hints over the next 18hrs might illicit a "why don't you go" suggestion ;))

Friday
Stones / Dylan
Saturday
Macca / Young
Sunday
Waters / The Who

Saw an amusing tweet on this by Martin from RAM Album Club earlier this week...

Brilliant experience though for those fortunate enough to get there.

Most gigs have volunteers on standby from the St John Ambulance Service. This festival has got their volunteers from the Co-Operative Funeral Services.
