Expecting big things from him and Sakho this year. They can only benefit each other.Aar0n_28 wrote:Payet. Without a shadow of a doubt.

I know it's only pre-season but he's looking very good indeed. Been in my draft for ages now and really can't bring myself to start the season without him.Notned wrote:Expecting big things from him and Sakho this year. Re: 'Called it' 2015/16
I've gone for Sakho personally. Think they're both good options in their own right though. It's just that Sakho is cheaper and looks the best forward in that range, whereas there are several good options around Payet's price in midfield.Aar0n_28 wrote:I know it's only pre-season but he's looking very good indeed. Seen Scott Sinclair mentioned at 5.0 but one that goes massively under the radar is Ki at 5.5? Value considering he scored 8 goals from midfield last season and was regularly the midfielder getting into the box for Swansea.

He only has 28 shots, though, which gave him a conversion rate higher than anyone else in the legaue. The Toon Man wrote: one that goes massively under the radar is Ki at 5.5? See here, order by "SH%"
Don't think he's a bad shout as he does get in the box, but wouldn't expect the same returns and would favour Mahrez at the same price.

Re: 'Called it' 2015/16
Ki is an intriguing option, and is a very underrated player both in real terms and FPL. My concern though would be that he can't maintain that level of returns, and that the signing of the very attack minded Ayew may cause him to shackle himself a bit more. Definitely one to keep an eye on though, as he could be a decent facilitator at some point if he can pick up where he left off.The Toon Man wrote:Seen Scott Sinclair mentioned at 5.0 but one that goes massively under the radar is Ki at 5.5? On the subject of 5.5m mids, I didn't realise until I read an article on him earlier how productive Chris Brunt was last season.. very under the radar, that one.

As a Spurs fan I find this very very unlikely, he has shown no consistency or much creativity to expect that sort of returns.Les_Gomiserables wrote:As mentioned in earlier post

Whilst Chadli is largely on the periphery on play, he's much more likely to contribute consistent FPL points.

Him and Eriksen were dynamic working together at times early last season and can see him to continue to improve!

Re: 'Called it' 2015/16
Excellent punt as far as I am concerned. Fixtures are outstanding and his stats from last season are exceptional. Could be massive VFM in him at the start. I just cant bring myself to put 5.5 on a punt for my 5th MF as I am starting with a 3-4-3 formation. My cheapie is Behrami so praying he can perform in the PLThe Toon Man wrote:

Re: 'Called it' 2015/16
Lots (ok, not lots but a few) have mentioned Behrami, I think he's a starter from what I've seen in terms of Watford lineups but he hasn't scored or got an assist for two seasons as far as I know... Unless I'm missing something?

Crystal Palace... Bags of potential in that squad, especially going forward. Reckon they will do well, and we'll all have someone like bolassie, sakho, puncheon or cabaye at some point in the season.

Agreed east, I think Puncheon could be a shrewd pick early on

Re: 'Called it' 2015/16
I think any one of them could be a shrewd pick at some point, it's picking the right one that will be the problem! Lots of competition in those attacking midfield positions there now... luckily their opening fixtures are off putting enough for me not to be interested in any yet, giving chance to see who looks best/ most nailed. The Toon Man wrote:Agreed east, I think Puncheon could be a shrewd pick early on
As per the thread, and echoing quite a few of the shouts already made, I think West Ham's Europa elimination will only further enhance the potential of Sakho/Payet this season.

Rooney, Walcott, Lukaku
Im also hopeful of serge gnabry making it into the west brom starting lineup and becoming an enabler later in the season.

Re: 'Called it' 2015/16
Well, that's my Rodgers prediction coming true, should have had some cash on itGambit wrote:to do well
Harry Kane to score 20 goals again this season, Utd, Chelsea and others will bid 50m+ in the summer
Luke Shaw to establish himself as the best left back in the league (fitness permitting)
Mane will be one of the standout players and the next Southampton player everybody wants to sign
to not do well
Firmino to flop
Rodgers to be sacked before end of season
One of Villa or Newcastle to be relegated
also looking good on Mane, Newcastle and Firmino
Shaw also before his injury
just need to get my fantasy picks as good now

Also, Walcott to shine until a ~GW10 injury.
Southampton will surprise everyone again with a top 4 rank by Christmas.
Depay to constantly "almost score", thus frustrating FPL managers.
As for FPL value, perhaps Wijnaldum?

Please say yes, as it's highly likely the only called it I'll ever have.
