How can you expect what kind of player he may be like after never hearing of/seeing him? :?

Firmino is a class player, Liverpool are lucky to have him. Expect him to make a name for himself in 2/3 seasons and then move on to a bigger club.

I guess he could converse with Coutinho, but then again Rodgers has signed Milner to play in Coutinho's position.

I expect Ings to prove to be the young mans version of Lambert and will flounder.

Tired of seeing Liverpool linked to Bacca ( lazy bustard but can finish,)and Benteke, who try's for 1/2 a dozen games a season then his agent will do a Ward proclaiming he wants to play for Barcelona or something. Benteke ain't worth 10 mio imo.

If Firmino was any good then one of the bigger clubs would of signed him
If Clyne was worth 15 mio then one of the big clubs would of signed him
If Benteke was worth 32.5 mio one of the big clubs would of signed him.

Liverpool are shopping at Cafe's nowdays and paying top restaurant prices because they are so poorly managed.

Weed out the problem. Sack Rodgers.
Alright mate, I guess you won't be choosing any of the new players in your fantasy football teams then ?

RODGERS is not a manager in my eyes at any level. Your obviously blind to his track record thus far.

After numerous false dawns over the years, I have never been more pessimistic about a new season than now. Rodgers should of been sacked and replaced by Klopp or even Benitez. £215 million spent over three years and no trophies is a disgrace. His only decent buy was Coutinho and perhaps Sturridge if his fitness improves. Who has ever watched Milner play and thought he would be a good addition to any team? (Him taking the number 7 shirt is a piss take).
It's not just that his buys are bad, he paid over the odds for the Southampton team, and Balotelli. He is a modern day version of the emporers new clothes, and the owners can't see it. The second place finish the season before last was purely down to chewy Suarez and nothing to do with Rodgers. I hope Gerrard doesn't come back as I think he has suffered enough. I hope things won't be as bad as I think, but it's going to get worse before it gets better. Rant over.

So the kings Clothes has miracuously avoided getting tinned much to my disgust and has again been heavily involved in the Transfer market, overpaying on players that I would either regard as average at best ( milner, Ings, ) or paid OTT on a Ck in Firminho and paid 3 times over the odds for a player that needs a constant supply of crosses to perform, when he wants to bother, to even get a performance out of him- Benteke.

Liverpools main problem last season were having an abundance of Shit defenders.

Mignolet had a handful of acceptable games but in the main made Gary eff Sprake look world class.
Sakho & Lovren are £40 worth of shite that RODGERS in his wisdom purchased and neither should grace a premier game again.

Clyne is good acquisition but RODGERS again paid over the odds to Soton. Gomez - if he plays left back has to be better than the £18 million RODGERS again spunked on Moreno, but I thought he was bought as one for the future and I've never seen him play.

Brad Jones was released and replaced by Bogdoor on a free from Bolton, hardly competition for rabbit in headlights Mignolet.

WHY HAS RODGERS NOT ADDRESSED THE CENTRE HALF SITUATION AND KEEPER.

I'm eff astounded and shows just how inept he is as a manager. Please pay me 1/00th of his salary and appoint me or for that matter any other eff as he is ruining Liverpool.

After tonight's poor performance, according to press reports,he has come out and stated he is happy with the squad but is just not sure who is going to start at centre half between Lovren & Sakho to partner Skrtel.
Why are Liverpool starting a new season with the same dross centre backs? I can't even recall and press speculation of RODGERS looking to buy any centre halfs

Tbh even Skrtel seems to have morphed into another shite centre back much like a Phil Jones or Smalling.

Liverpool are going to concede ridiculously easy with Mignolet, Skrtel, Sakho/Lovren at the back and for that RODGERS should be castigated on air at the earliest opportunity when a team puts several past them as I'm sure any premier team can and will.

Here's praying for the first managerial casualty of the season being Brendan I've got 101 flats so I don't care RODGERS.

I reckon you've lost half your audience there Dot.

Very surprising he hasn't gone in for another CB. Is Toure/Can still the 4th option? Maybe Lovren will rediscover the form that he showed 2013/14 and they should get a bit more protection with Henderson/Can/Milner in front.

On balance I think your lot have had a decent window. Sterling gone should mean Coutinho is the main man and you've gone from relying on Sturridge plus Balotelli and Lambert to Benteke, Ings and Sturridge if he's fit which seems an upgrade. Need to drum Balotelli out of the club come what may - rotten apple.

Milner will do a job in the middle and Clyne doesn't seem too much cash in the current market - the Fat Spanish Waiter once spent half his summer budget on Glenn Johnson

Amazing how a rubbish keeper who got dropped for part of the season when he wasn't playing behind rubbish CBs in a rubbish team still managed to be the highest scoring goalkeeper in TFF last season......

Your either Brendan Rodgers or a bigger idiot than I thought.

come on state it loud and clear.

YOUR STATING MIGNOLET IS GOOD KEEPER AND YOUR HAPPY TO SEE HIM REMAIN AS THE NO 1 AT LIVERPOOL??

I say he is a eff clown who has never owned his area, hesitant, cannot catch a ball, is a rabbit in headlights, rarely saves a pen, can't kick, infact mignolet is inept in every department with the exception being a decent shot stopper, but that is not what makes a good keeper.

I would have any and I mean any other premiership keeper instead of currently and I would add centre halfs to that list.

Rodgers is a fraud and you obviously do not understand football.

Murf rates Mignolet..

eff me whose the bigger clown.

your be spouting next Lovren and Sakho will come good and Murf sorry morph into top centre halfs.

Oh a Groomyd come back with puns.

Sitting there smug by implying your response could mean a defence or an attack on the keeper. Always give urself a get out clause eh

The proper perspective of RODGERS inadequacies as a manager is this.

RODGERS has failed to significantly improve a defence who have conceeded 98 goals in the premiership in the last two seasons. Only Spurs out of the top 7 have conceeded more.

Arsenal conceeded 21 fewer goals, City 23 fewer and Chelsea a staggering 39 fewer.

Clyne is an improvement on Johnson ( not much) Gomez surely been bought for the future and once again he persists with rabbit in headlights Mignolet, how many eff chances is this guy having and its Lovren /Sakho to partner Skrtel  and if Skrtel is injured its Toure to come in

eff my old boots.

This I trust will see RODGERS lose his position as manager of Liverpool.

http://www.sportinglife.com/football/ne ... his-season

Lovren is shit- end of.

Not replacing the keeper and centre backs this season is inexcusable.
Bad players do not become good.
Lovren is frightened of his own eff shadow.
Stoke became the first team in Lovrens Liverpool career to make him look good.

With forgotten man Sturridge reportedly back in training, how will he fit in, assuming all attacking players are fit :?:

If he plays with Benteke, and Coutinho is a shoo in, that leaves a heck of a battle for the other attacking place.

what is it ?

£312 million Rodgers has so far spent on players and he achieves another record today.

First Liverpool manager to lose to WHU at home in 52 years is it? Sorry didn't just lose, comprehensively thrashed.

Remember this is a manager that persists with Lovren the worst player for Liverpool in my memory.

Bring in anyone to replace
Rodgers and I do mean anyone.

Personally i'd go with this as front 6..
....................................Henderson
.........................Milner..................Coutinho
..................Sturridge.....Benteke.......Firminho

Altho tbh still not convinced by Henderson(would prefer Can) but with being captain its unlikely he'l be dropped.

Firmino has impressed me as much as Markovic did last season. Poor mans Nani

Milner is exactly as Expected Joe Average with an engine.

Benteke is trying but as mentioned he's the wrong fit for this team as they do not supply crosses.

Clyne is working hard but can never venture too far up the pitch when you have a centre half as shit Lovren playing and Skrtel should also have been released.

Gomez has impressed me.

What's this lad like?
