I'm doing it and looking forward to it.

Good luck Rob. I'll be running again this year. No great expectations - I'll be totally honest I've done no training.

How did you get on Rob?

With no training I managed 4h26m which I'm well happy with.

Well played.

My wife and I decided to move up from Half-Marathons to the full event next year having watched today. Will definitely be in for the ballot next week

Someone shout when the ballot is open! Not that I'm sure my body could hack the training to do it justice but it would give me incentive to try.

Well done Digsby, 4.5 hrs isn't bad with no training :D

Well done, Digsby, that's a cracking time on no training.

I thoroughly enjoyed it - the atmosphere was amazing. I finished in 3:13:36 and my legs don't feel too bad this morning. I met Kevin Kilbane (patron of my chosen charity), and have breached the £1,500 mark of money raised (http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/DSArunnerRob).

Cheers. Good luck, whichever way you want it!

There were 4 of us from where I work applied and we all heard in the post yesterday (2 * no and 2 * yes for the 2 of us that are leaving!).

We don't live abroad though

In through the ballot.

I've got another rejection letter.

Let me know sponsorship details murf and I'll bung you a few quid. If I don't get a club place I'll be there at the end volunteering on the baggage lorries.

Blooming foreigners! Trying to take all your marathon places.

Ta for the good wishes. I'm very keen to be in (through the ballot anyway - don't want the hassle of a charity application. I raised a couple of grand when doing the Silverstone Half last year and don't want to ask again when running is a hobby now). Still no news.

I have heard (indirectly) that I didn't make it. Bit of a shame but there'll be other races and other years.
