Considering:

Mirallas  Milner
Duff  Mangala

Should once again move me to about 12 fit players before another two get injured this week.

Oh, it's -4 BTW.

Had 2 free transfers, taken a -4 point hit for the following:

Rooney  Falcao (maybe a little tinkertastic but he who dares rodders)
Coleman  Zabaleta (Everton, shocking atm, Zab and lovely city run)
Janmaat  Cahill (Surely the cleanies are coming for Chelsea)

A quick question about Mark Albrighton who plays for Leicester.

He is my 5th cheap midfielder, but lately he hasnt even been on the bench.

With gw 18 19 and 20 coming up I need someone on my bench to be able to get 2 points.

With the rotation in the christmas period do you think theres any chance Albrighton will play? Or should I transfer him out, and in that case for who?

Thanks for the replies

Most on here will say Georgie Boyd. Cheap, plays every week and seems to score or assist whenever he's most likely to come off the bench.

Opinions on best defender for 4.4 or less over the next three or four games?

Wish there was some certainty about who out of Clichy & Kolarov will start. Just one of the things i'm considering is replacing Jags with another City defender to go alongside Demichelis. Unfortunately can't afford Zabaleta and i'm not sure about the extra spend on Mangala.

I have Baines & Rooney. Both of whom have question marks over. Rooney is playing central midfield. Baines is getting poor points. If I give Baines/Rooney 1 more game due to their fixtures, then I guess I could always do Hutton  Moore, for GW19.

Any transfer suggestions? 2 FT 1.1 itb

Forster
Chambers Baines Wisdom
Sanchez Hazard Siggy Yaya
Rooney Boney Austin

Subs: Boyd Dummett Moore

Harry Maguire could get gametime and his good in front of goal. Would be a big gamble but Bruce needs to dump his nepotistic tendancies.

Didn't Jose say every player will be 'rested' over Christmas?

Also, after this GW they play West Ham, Southampton and Spurs in their next 3. Not the easiest?

However having said all that, I'm really only seeing Clichy, Azpilicueta, Zabaletta & Ivanovic as 4 better options; but they're all a rotation risk.

Got 2FTs, looking at doing:

Baines  Zabaleta
Yun  Hutton

Seems a bit crap changing two defenders at the same time when there are other areas in my team that need work but I've lost patience with Baines hence Zabaleta and I like the look of Villa's fixtures hence Hutton. Looking forward to the winter WC.

OK, what do you guys think of:

Moore  Hutton and playing Hutton instead of Wisdom?

I know away to Swansea isn't a great CS chance, however it's better than Wisdom's and it also gives me the added bonus of a defender who actually plays! I can then keep Hutton for pretty much the rest of the season as a rotator.

As mentioned above, what about O'Shea - HUL and avl next then bench him for mcy, LIV, tot and then play him for BUR as the last game before Jan WC ends.

Yep, he's another option. But I plan on using my WC in time for GW23... but then again if you look at Sunderland's fixtures, they have some mighty fine games for a Rotator:
BUR QPR WBA hull AVL NEW CRY LEI

That's 8 out of the 16 they'd have remaining from GW23 onwards. Not bad for a budget defender!

I can't help but think those taking out Baines may live to regret it... I hope so anyway as I'm keeping.

Are we confident that Zabaleta isn't a rotation risk with Sagna?

Very true - I'm thinking of going for Pant'mon with my WC, and would probably prefer Vergini to O'Shea due to the latter's injury record (although he's been fine this season), but he is 4.5m rather than within your 4.4m limit. Also it depends when van Aanholt is back as he was more the most attacking of the S'land defenders.

Me too - I will 99% be sticking with Leighton until GW24 at the earliest (don't know after that as there is no point considering fixtures past the Jan WC cut-off

I would be tempted to get rid but have too many other issues to deal with. Baines it not one you can hop on and off though.

He has 22% ownership therefore I would be worried going into a match not owning him. If the one pointers continue to January then will have to look to get rid in the wildcard, as will many others.

If Costa returns another mediocre score tonight I'm tempted to switch to Benteke/ Giroud/ Kane.

Kind of contradicts my above post re. Baines and ownership but for such a long time Costa just hasn't been worth it.

I'm in a similar position myself, up to 4.7/4.8 though.

Hutton has been suggested, but Vlaar was a bonus magnet in the past and is back playing. I don't know if he's likely to play 3 or 4 games in a short period though.

Ben Davies at 4.4 has been playing regularly Again, rest and rotation?

Not only that - he's owned by about 50% of players in the top 10,000.
