All-Europe Football

Post by Garf »

Hello,
I'd like to invite you to join All-Europe Football, a unique fantasy game comprising five major European leagues: EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, plus Champions League, Europa League, as well as H2H League Cups, FA Cups, Supercups. The financial model is rather realistic with contracts up to 5 years, international and national loans and transfers, signing fees etc. Up to 98 people could participate. To get a better idea, watch the short tutorials or visit the league forum. We kick off in June/July.
Cheers,
Daniel

We're currently around 20 people, but up to 100 people could take part (in which case you'd be limited to one team each). I'll be travelling to the Olympic Games, thus the official kick-off is August 12.

(Scratch that, turns out in France they're kicking off on August 11.)

Our game has started! You can still join.

Just watched your YouTube video's and it seems like a really interesting concept!

I presume that I've missed the boat for drafting free agents / contract bidding. How does a late entrant go about selecting their squad?

I highly recommend this game to my fellow FISO members!

The league is basically a 'franchise league' where you take the name only of a top European club. You then need to bid against other teams for a squad of players using a fixed budget. Like an auction league. The difference being, once players are purchased you can give them contracts ranging between 1-5 years. So this is a long term game, but they seem like a good bunch of lads to get on with. The title of All-Europe is a little misleading so don't be put off. You don't need to keep tabs on the whole of Europe, you can just play the Premier League if you want, as you can only sign players playing in your domestic league. During subsequent transfer windows after the free draft is over, Players are traded between teams by agreeing transfer fees. If a player moves country I.E. Kagawa to the PL, an auction takes place and his old German club receives the money from the auction.

There are still a few spaces left and you haven't missed anything yet so get yourselves involved!

If you have any questions feel free to ask

This would probably be the last moment to join before January, as the transfer window closes in 2 weeks. We're 95% full, but I should manage to squeeze you in if interested. If you want to know more, contact me at ProFSL. I won't be coming back here.

Again, in short: it's a web of major European football competitions. Allows every user to own up to 1 team per country. The competitions are the top divisions in England, Spain, Italy, Germany, and France. Separate player universe per country, allowing for easy scoring according to the national calendar. Countries connected by international transfers and loans, Champions League, and Europa League. Bonus: head-to-head League Cup and FA Cup. International and national transfers, international and national loans, free agents. Transfer fees, loan fees, signing fees. Every team has its budget (the vault), from which both fees (deducted once) and salaries of the players (deducted every 6 months) are paid. When buying a player, an understanding has to be reached between both teams (resulting in a transfer fee), as well as between the player and his new club (resulting in a new contract). All team rosters built from scratch.

I also made two video tutorials for members:

Both the Fantrax scoring and the addition of a lower division in England confirmed!
This way, next season we'll have an even deeper, but much simpler game in terms of team maintenance!
Still looking for a couple of new people. Do you know anybody who might be interested?

Due to technical difficulties we were forced to cancel this season on the continent, but England is still very much alive and kicking.
Any interest in Villa or Fulham? Sign up and take your pick after you've read the rules!

Fantrax still won't add other countries, but England is working perfectly and entering the third season next month. The addition of a lower division worked out really nicely too, so this summer we have a couple of very different openings: some mid-table EPL teams, the newly promoted Newcastle, Fulham freshly relegated to the Championship, and a couple of teams stuck there too.
