"Hi Andrew,

I have just been in touch with Opta regarding your query on the Dzeko assist. They have confirmed that the ball brushed off Carroll after Dzeko kicked it so it doesn't count as an assist.

We rely on Opta, as the official data provider to the Premier League, for all our data so we won't be awarding an assist for the Nasri goal.
