That's what I meant - he was sterotyping a regional group after complaining about others doing the same.AKNel1 wrote:Isn't that stereotyping Northern Irelanders ?murf wrote:...and only yesterday, on the Hillsborough thread, you were complaining about the authorities trying to sterotype scouserstedbull wrote:I have a mental image of him giving that statement while Rodgers is stood behind him wearing a balaclava.

Liverpool have 6 games in October - 5 of them at home
Although i cant see the date anywhere for their League cup game against Swansea on the Liverpool site or anywhere else.
Assume it will be Wed 31st Oct.

..and the only 'away' trip is just a wander across the park. Just a shame our home form (W1 D2 L2) is so much worse than our away form (W5 D1 L1). First game in November is also at home (so half a mile travel in 6 games!)sleuth wrote:Liverpool have 6 games in October - 5 of them at home

"All ties to be played week commencing 29th October 2012."
As we play on the sunday before then the cup game will surely be on wednesday 31st.

Lucas is back
Played an hour for the U21s (won again, still only unbeaten team in country, already qualified for end of season elite league).

Morgan's relative failing in his first team cameos doesn't seem to be affecting him. Scored again in yet another U21s win yesterday - good to see they were still up for it in a 'dead rubber' as they have already won their groupleaguething.
U18s won their first game in the FA Youth Cup. Think it was 5 or 6 - nil versus Swindon. Haven't watched this generation much yet but thought this could be a banana skin game as their regular season form has been indifferent. Have to try and watch the next game.

Yesil got 2 in the NextGen win the other day. Looks like a good prospect. One of him and Morgan should make the grade.
The right back, Ryan McLaughlin, got mot of the plaudits though. We seem to have quite a production line there - Kelly, Flanagan, Wisdom, McLaughlin. All fighting to be Glen Johnson's understudy!

Latest match report on the midget crab that is Joe Allen from todays Sun. Shaun Curtis.
(this is the guy rated by Buck Rodgers as good enough to be in Barcelona's and Spain national team midfield- he even said he should be spanish- pass the eff sickbag)
For £15 million former Swansea midfielder Allen does not offer alot (correct Shaun)
Cleverley and Kagawa were linking nicely and Joe Allen was chasing shadows.
Joe Allens passing stats are impressive on paper but most of those are backwards or sideways (that's why hes called the CRAB by me Shaun and rarely does he play a killer ball forward. It was Allen who presented Wellbeck with another opportunity through a sloppy backpass and it took an excellent block tackle from Agger to deny the young England forward.
HOORAY somebody else reconises that Joe Allen is the Emperors clothes much like Liverpools manager
I've added this to the other snippets about Allen from me and the paper thus far.

If this crab ever makes a forward pass give me a shout. Always looking to pass it square or back.. yeah some eff footballer...... Got robbed several times tryiong to do the easy option square or back when a forward pass was the order of the day. Alonso has more skill in an anal hair than Joe Allen.

Liverpool were struggling and lightweight welsh midfielder Joe Allen gave the ball away too easily every time he tried to play it forward .Correct Shaun because he doesn't play forward passes he is a crab.
Allen is perfectly content when he is playing it sideways and backwards, keeping up his passing statistics, but it all goes haywire if he tries to be creative.
He has yet to justify his hefty £14 mio signing from Swansea and when he hauled down Torres and another mistake it was the act of a frustrated MIDGET.
Buck Rodgers is a eff idiot for spunking 14 mio on this bag of shite, i'd rather have santos from

Would be quite amusing with Dot and FoxInTheBox 'representing' Liverpool and Arsenal respectively. Can it be arranged in time? Or we could have Achiles and Groomyd on Sky Sports Twilightzone.

I think it wil be Lucas and Gerrard tonight Dot, although I'm less certain about Skrtel/Carragher - I think he has this idea that Carragher's organisation and shouting is badly missed. We could do with a dominating centre half.
My guess for tonight
Reina
Johnson
Carragher
Agger
Enrique
Lucas
Gerrard
Downing
Suarez
Sturridge
Borini

Carragher is past it!!!! Turns marginally quicker than the super tanker masquarading as a defender for Arsenal going by the name of ROBERT CACK WADLOW.
15 MILLION ON ALLEN- SHOULD BE SHOT 875 million passes for Liverpool so far- not one a forward pass.

Not sure he'll go with the 4 attackers thing again after sunday, I'd rather see Suarez in one of the two wide spots than behind Sturridge taking away a midfielder place (especially in a tricky away game).AKNel1 wrote:I think it wil be Lucas and Gerrard tonight Dot, although I'm less certain about Skrtel/Carragher - I think he has this idea that Carragher's organisation and shouting is badly missed. I too am worried it will be Carra over Skrtel.
Enrique? Who knows, I'd guess it is a game early as Wisdom is playing OK.
There is an article on the LFC site where Allen says they want to mess up Arsenal's passing game so that could hint at him and Lucas playing as they did against Man U. I'd drop Allen but are we really much better with Henderson or Shelvey in there? Possibly as Gerrard plays deeper and can be more positive than Allen.
If it was me I'd adjust your team as follows:
Carra Skrtel
Enrique Wisdom
Downing or Borini Henderson
(leave out Sterling and Allen)
I probably should give up guessing what Rodgers will actually do - would be better of hanging around the training ground watching the bibs.....

I'm not sure what your point is about belittling the team when you are so vociferous in your disliking of Allen and Borini (is that not belittling).
I think we need to buy a commanding centre half - do you disagree with that ?
I don't think Allen will play tonight. Borini and Sterling is a toss up for me as I think Sterling is struggling at the moment whilst Borini is trying too hard and lacks any composure.
I think Rodgers will try to play his strongest XI in every game now and not concern himself with rotation.

12 MILLION for Borini who must of studied Barndoor Lampard tapes for shooting.
Stop belittling the team you pick- the buck stops with Buck
eff off rodgers i hope Arsenal win 10-0 IF YOU START AS EXPECTED WITH CARRAGHER & ALLEN
-i shall be drinking copious amounts of lager/vodka in the Three Lords Fenchurch street.
Borini, Carragher and Allen should be nowhere near the ist team.
Midfield tonight should be Gerrard, Lucas, Shelvey & Sterling/Downing
Wisdom is another that should never be let loose on the ist team.
Infact Rodgers is tuning Liverpool into a team im beginning to loathe.

I have my doubts, but lets see what he can do on the pitch before we write him off.
