Fantasy Royal baby competition

Post by Shaggy365 »

All this talk of babies has got me wondering. Is it possible to do a FISO Royal baby competition? And why has oddschecker not got odds on the baby's name yet? I want to put a bet on the name "Diana".

Anyway, enough of this small-talk. Of course it's possible. Here's how you enter. Simply enter your FISO name, baby's name ,baby's sex, date of the month & weight in grammes (for those of us too old, 7lbs = 3175 g).

Entries to be in by end of March 2013.

Points will be awarded thus :

Date of the month -1 point for each day out counting either way on a calendar
Baby's sex +30 for correct guess, 0 for wrong
Baby's weight -1 point for each whole 200g out
Baby's name -1 for each scrabble point different between your guess & actual name

So as an example
Shaggy365 Diana F 1 3000

Winner to be announced at some point in the next 7 or 8 months (and I'll do the scrabble bit).

I think it would be more entertaining if people listed the names, dates and sex too (in addition to their score) - perhaps you could also add weight in pounds :D

Changed the rules. Honestly, haven't even had any entries and already I've had to change it.

Gone for Grace but, if female, likely to have Diana or Olga in the full name to honour memories.

She nodded when asked by reporters if she was feeling better.

Isn't that when people generally leave hospital anyway? She should have said "No. I'm feeling worse and that's why I'm leaving hospital you effin eff"

Yes, it will be the first name, and not some nickname/alias/FISO user-name.
