It's the average of top 5 teams that counts.

Mini-League set up.

There's an odd rule about not having identical teams, but that looks impossible to guarantee so will need looking at later.

I have registered.

Looks like this game will take a lot of work to ensure you have the right trainers and jockeys for the big races.

I'll have a go at this. Selected one stable so far and will do the other two before the first race. Let us know when the league has been set up and when you want us to enter our teams.

Cheers

Crazy game, you don't actually need the winners, an outsider coming third will give more points. Not worth having any red hot favourites IMO.

Where does it say about scoring?

Race Selections: Each winning horse selection or one that is placed will score as follows:
Race Win: 10 times the industry starting price. 20 times the industry starting price will be awarded for the five QIPCO British Champions day races on Saturday, October 20. For example, if your horse wins and the industry standard starting price is 10/1, you will score 10 times the starting price i.e. 10 x 10 = 100 points scored
Race Place: 3 times the industry standard Starting Price. 6 times the industry starting price will be awarded for the five QIPCO British Champions day races on Saturday, October 20. For example, if your horse is placed and the industry standard starting price is 5/2, you will score 3 times the starting price i.e. 3 x 2.5 (5/2 = 5 divided by 2) = 7.5 points scored

That's a bit unfair. You memory may be crap, but the game is just "different". One must take the rules into account when making selections, and simply hope that you have a long priced winner or two. It's good that there is the odd fantasy game which any luckster can win.

If you want a more "rational" fantasy racing comp, there's always TTTF.

Five of us bothered to enter the mini-league so it will count for the prize. :D

We're in 8th place in the super-league table at present but one or two to add I'd imagine.
