In the information it details that scoring includes cup matches, does this include cup matches in the Europa League and the Champions League?

Hey :)

Yes it does. We will be re-writing some of the rules to make all of this a bit clearer.

The cups include everything except international (there will be a separate Euro 2012 game) games,
friendlies (including Charity Shield), pre-season tournaments and qualification matches.

So any domestic cup match, Europa League and CL matches (except qualification) will count towards the points total.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your prompt response to my last question GM. Sorry to trouble you with another question, how will the transfers work, will it be possible to select a player who is for example playing on the 30th July and then transfer him out for a player playing on the 31st July and score points for both players. Also with captain changes will it be possible to do something similar with captain changes, change the captaincy from one player playing on the 30th July to another playing on the 31st July and score double points for both players.

Sorry one more question, am I correct in assuming the scoring starts with matches in the German Cup in the last weekend of July.

Also congratulations on the design and concept of a game which will be both interesting and demanding, in that it will require a great deal of research across all of the major european leagues.

Hi nbbbee10,

Thank you for input - much appreciated and always welcome (both positive and negative!)

We want our first season to start well - and we are aiming to be do our very best - but obviously things cant be perfect straight off (mainly budget restrictions). For the 2012/13 season the game will have a huge amount of additions and upgrades (both visually and interactivity).

Meanwhile - to answer your questions.

I will send this question to my lead programmer and see what he says. At the moment it is proposed that transfers and captain changes will shut off from friday til monday morning.

but we've had a few requests to open this up to allow for more interaction. we want to give the 'people' (cheesy) what they want. so if we can change the code a bit, i will let you now when this has been resolved asap.

look out for changed in the rules etc. We will also send out a newsletter to announce any major changes (such as the ability to change formations etc).

Speak soon,

Gilles

We are continuing to develop the game before the first point-scoring matches kick-off (German Cup matches 30th July).

We should be adding the ability to change formations once a team has been confirmed and will be announcing the addition of 4 Substitutes (with an increased budget relative to the additional players).

Meanwhile, make sure you sign-up and start researching your best 'Euro-Eleven':

http://www.euro-eleven.com/league/index-3.php

The database is updated daily, so all recent transfers should appear regularly.

Thanks Bulgarche :)

I do know about this - but we have decided to class it as a pre-season match much like the English Community Shield. So these will not count towards points.

The first point-scoring matches will be the german cup matches starting on the 29th July.

We had to start somewhere and it gives us a few more days to finish off the new additions.

So hope your looking forward to the 29th of July (if you decide to use Bundesliga players!) and talk soon. We always open and welcome new suggestions/questions etc.

Thanks for your input so far.

Thank you for the respond, Gill.

I will start with the german players because I expect many goals in the German Cup games. And with those two changes every week my team will become more "international" with the time. This is the reason why I asked about the Super Cup game because of the posibility of double gameweek for those two teams :)

MESSAGE TO ALL:

Hope your enjoying the game so far.

Hi fanADE!

There are 5 leagues (the 5 major European leagues) :)

The mini-leagues will open next week (ill post an announcement when they are open)
FISO will receive a mini-league code which you can then enter and join.

Hope you enjoy it!

Hi Gilles,
Looks good so far. Any chance of the players list to be uploaded here in an easy to read excel format? I'm finding it a little difficult to keep jumping leagues and scrolling to compare the players.
Edit: Now it doesn't scroll down the whole list in Germany.

Hi Goonerboy.
thanks for your feedback.

We can sort out a player list - no problem. But first - we are sorting out the problem we have with our xml provider. They have cocked up the German league - so we are working hard to fix everything. Rest assured it will be back to normal later today and with all the new transfers in place.

I've just finished my team and wanted to change it but it is using up my allocated transfers. I thought the game went live on the 29th and so you had unlimited transfers until then? 20 transfers available this week - I'm confused.

Hi.

It is unlimited. It is just for coding purposes at this time. We will reset your transfer counter to 20 or more soon. Dont worry!
