Re: FISO Euro Cup 09/10 - a new side game
With a short fixture list last week the teams overall scores were not great. Some of the top teams didn't do so well which led to some pretty close calls for some teams.
For example the top of the overall league Tim's Titans was only 20 points better off than the bottom of the league (and his opponent last week) RJ1. I know that 20 pts seems a lot but in Yahoo scoring system that could be just one players score, if they had a good week.
Another high flyer Athletico Gyrio fell to bottom half team Donegal Blues.
In League One the second placed team Frattonender beat top team Team USA, closing the gap between them, but maybe a bit late to catch him up.
Another shortened fixture list this week, so maybe some more upsets will happen.

Will just have to face the fact that having a job severely hinders fantasy football performance I don't have time to do my research, pondering and planning as my recent delections show

League Two is the only title race worth looking at really, League One is all but sorted I think.
Full credit must go to Chickity China for pushing Tim's Titans all the way to the end. Even more impressive is the fact that Chickity China is 18th in the FISO Yahoo League and Tim's Titans are 1st and the runaway leader.

The League Two title race has been close for a while, but now it is neck and neck. Tim's Titans fell to Over Under Sideways Down and Chickity China just scraped a win over bottom team RJ1.
This means that both Tim's Titans and Chickity China are both on 51 pts.
In League One Team USA are strolling to a win, in the league stage at least.
Don't forget the winners and runners up of one league will play their counter parts in the other league, for the knockout stage.

Just 3 weeks to go now before knockout stages and still League two is not sorted.
A big well done to Athletico Gyrio for getting a score of 202 last week.

Tim's Titans take the lead back in League two. I had my worst week ever, scoring just 18 points. I'm not happy

As you can see, League one winner Team USA meets League two runner up Chickity China and League two winner Tim's Titans meets League one runner up frattonender in the two semi finals.
Good luck to all teams.

Re: FISO Euro Cup 09/10 - a new side game
Sorry for the delay, been busy at work and under the weather so not had the energy to get the results together. Even now can't manage to sort out the graphics or web site. Not really needed now as there are only 4 teams left to sort out.
Team USA week 1=159 week 2=107.5 total = 266.5
Vs
Chickity China week 1=45 week 2=54 total = 99
winner Team USA
Tim's Titans week 1=151 week 2=78 total = 229
Vs
frattonender week 1=128 week 2=64 total = 192
winner Tim's Titans
So the final will be between Team USA and Tim's Titans.
Good luck to you both.

The Final 1st leg
Team USA 154.5
Tim's Titans 149.5
very close indeed, so either team can still win this.

The Final Second leg score and Result.
Team USA 101.5 - overall total score = 256
Tim's Titans 88.5 - overall total score = 238
so the winners is
Team USA
Congrats to you, beating the leagues overall winner and stopping him from doing the double.
