FISO AFL Brownlow 2009
Welcome to the first FISO AFL Brownlow.
The rules are pretty simple. Our 18 players are sorted according to whichever criteria apply in any given week.
The top 3 receive Brownlow 'Votes' on a 3,2,1 basis.
In the event of a tie both (or more) players will receive equal votes, however no votes would be awarded for the next position. ie if two players tie for the lead then they each get 3 votes but the next team is just awarded 1 vote. The usual sort of rules.
The 2009 Brownlow medalist(s) will be the player(s) with the most votes at the end of Round 18 (ie final match of the home and away season).
And please forgive my rather amateurish attempts at formatting the scoreboard.

FISO AFL Brownlow Round Three Results:
3 Votes - Zuluwarrior's approach to financial management brings in AUD$438,400
2 Votes - X-Man may have started slowly but AUD$414,500 extra in his skyrocket will give him some great options moving forward.
1 Vote - atx1303 somehow keeps his focus off his all-conquering FPL team long enough to make a lazy AUD$398,000 profit.
Round 4 is all about inflicting a bristol whipping and forcing your opponent into some tontine-biting. Biggest winning margin will take the chocolates. This should give a great opportunity to the two Championship teams, but the pom has unfortunately landed an opponent averaging over 2000 a round. mjs8274 should start as favourite for the votes given he is playing someone averaging a little over 1500 per round.

FISO AFL Brownlow Round Four Results:
3 Votes - Zuluwarrior's 408 point win extends his Brownlow lead to 4 points, now making it 3 out 4 appearances in the best and a 2nd consecutive B.O.G performance.
2 Votes - mjs8274 brings up the first votes from the FISO Championship after a comfortable 383 point teabagging.
1 Vote - Sarky's 151 point win edges out Five Long Bones to make his 2nd appearance in the best and a position in joint 2nd overall at this early stage.
Next week is all about points scored, which on current form could give Zuluwarrior the chance of a B.O.G hat-trick.

FISO AFL Brownlow Round Six Results:
A chance for the lesser lights with scoring based on improvement since the last round.
3 Votes - Canary Yellow is on the board with a 279 point improvement.
2 Votes - There was nothing wrong with his Round 5 score but Sarky manages to defy the odds and improves by 265 points.
1 Vote - I said it was a chance for the lesser lights; tedbull finally gets his act together and posts something resembling a respectable score.
Another big opportunity for the lower ranked teams next week as it's the improvement on you current average score that will be judged.
Tables updated in first post.
Note that I will probably not have internet access for the next month or so. I'll catch up in June.

I think you must be doing something wrong with this competition Tedbull, I still don't have any points. Are you following the rules correctly?
