The Nobbly Croc - Live Footy Chat

Post by SunderlandFan »

It seems we need a thread for general banter and somewhere to talk whilst watching games.

I'm very proud to open the doors to The Nobbly Croc.

We serve the best Australian lagers and the worst Australian wines. Watch your language and keep your feet off the tables. Happy hour's between 6 and 7 during weekdays. All English must be referred to as poms or pommies and you can watch either AFL games or Home and Away on the TV in the back room. We've only got outside lavs and if you don't like it then you need to HTFU.

And try to keep the noise down.

CanaryYellow can you sticky this thread for me?

Would be better left at the top out of the way of proper threads with decent info.

Just like The Rounded Keeper for FPL but with more kangaroos and billabongs and all that crap ;)

Gimme a schooner of VB and stick a couple of stubbies in the esky. Mine's the black ute with Uncle Slam on the side.

It's for your own safety. Look what happened the last time you tried it..

I'm not much better - we'll never have another bouncy castle at the Croc while I'm still the landlady :x

Don't worry, the pub is fine.

I hope any Aussie members of FISO, there family and friends aren't affected by this.

The fires are a fair distance away from me, but I do know a couple of people who have lost everything that they own.

Are there any other Victorians on FISO?

230 reported to have died in those bushfires. That's beyond shocking  They get a lot in California, but I don't think I'd even heard of one death there.

I'll have an oat soda and a round for the bar, Emily. Oh, and make sure it's champagne for Mr Tippaz.

ted: I had a look at your team, but I thought I better read TSG again and have another look at my team before voicing an opinion.

Wow some nice early scores from my cheaper players. Mitch Robinson 90, Ryan Houlihan 94, Foley 94 and Kreuzer 100  (seems like a great 2nd Ruck choice)

Fevola let me down though with a very ordinary 67. Still I'm not complaining though :D
