Re: The Mother of all RMTs (Ironfist's RMT thread)
If it was my team, I would go Option C, but I think I would prefer Son instead of Lallana. Though that is three non-Europeans racking up air miles this week (Valencia, Son, Yoshida), and would need to see when Kane is back.

Re: The Mother of all RMTs (Ironfist's RMT thread)
OK... to do Firmino & 4.5mDEF Pedro & Valencia, I am 0.1m short.
Which is a better option to achieve that:
A. Caballero Valdes
or
B. Holgate Ake
or
C. deRoon Clayton
I feel most comfortable with option C, as either's chances of playing for me are slim, but what do you guys think

It seems now as if Costa might not play, Deeney is out, Tadic at odds with his boss...

I don't think this will be a problem. Thinking of bringing him in myself, haven't figured it out yet.

I wonder if that means he starts next season on a loan spell at Dumbarton...
But Costa... will he play tomorrow? Deeney? ...

The stats are dark and full of errors.

Don't worry IF, it looks like about 70% of the game have had a captaincy fail this week.

Re: The Mother of all RMTs (Ironfist's RMT thread)
Thinking of getting two DGW players. Those who are targets for the axe are; Origi, Mahrez & Capoue. Plus, I have 1.9m itb....
Was thinkig about somethig like
Mahrez & Origi Mikhtariyan/Pogba & Benteke
or Zaha/Townsend & Rashford
Or perhaps
Mahrez & Capoue 1 Utd & 1 Cpl mids.
------------------
All that and continue to ignore Kane or a second Spurs mid...

Then why sell Mahrez and Capoue who have doubles in 37? Origi to Negredo can you afford?

Re: The Mother of all RMTs (Ironfist's RMT thread)
Origi is gone for Benteke.
Now one of the mids out for a dgw mid.
Mahrez is low vfm and Capoue is less exciting than he used to be.

Personally i don't like taking hits for defensive players, even with his DGW, hull have a decent fixture.

Rudiger for Cahill saves you 0.5mIronfist wrote:My first attempt (of many... maaaaannnyyy more to come)...

Your thoughts gents...
Ritchie - no, he was poor for BOR after they got promoted. Knockaert or Ince better as they will be involved in most of BRI or HUD goals, or use the 0.5m saved to get in Redmond for Sotons early fixtures
Prefer RLC to Carroll
Hope things are good in your sunny country

Prefer RLC to Carroll - Don't know how much game time he'll get and how effective he'll be. wait & see on this one.
Hope things are good in your sunny country
Things are good here... mostly... it's bloody HOT! Everyday it's 36-40 degrees Celsius... I hate it. The family, pets, work are all OK - all suffering from the heat.

OK... what do you think... DeBruyne v Jesus ... yes, I know it depends on other parts of the team, but which of these two is more likely to deliver, both short & long term?

My assumption is that Rudiger will be part of back three and Dave moved to RB....need to see clues pre-season.

Alongside Luiz & Cahill...? 5 in the back for Chelsea? The Catman wrote:My assumption is that Rudiger will be part of back three and Dave moved to RB....
This is my current team...
Putting aside Hunemeier & T.Carroll... I could do quite a few things with or around that 10m...
1. Get Jesus instead of Gayle and replace KDV with someone slightly cheaper - a Chelsea mid or some such
2. Without changing anything could go for: Monreal & RLC, Dann & RLC + 0.5M (for Mane...), a 2nd 4.0m defender & Knockaert/Ince/Snodgrass/Phillips/etc. ...
Ideas, suggestions... ?
Thanks in advance.
