I have seen people screenshot their team and the players have form and price under their names.

Is this only showboating using paint or can you actually get this display using the FPL website?

I'm trying to find an example somewhere to illustrate my point...

I think you're talking about the thread here. You'll need Firefox with Greasemonkey installed to make it work.

I'd recommend it. Ask on the linked thread if you've got any questions.

Not sure about the Ctrl Alt method. Just print screen and cut the relevant bit out in paint as per my instructions earlier in the thread.

Just a suggestion to anyone with moderator power here, but can we -like- put up a notification somewhere to all the newbies to not start a new RMT thread for every new team they have in mind, but for them to just stick to their own thread they originally made?

It's kind of annoying seeing the RMT section being flooded with new posters who open up a new thread for every new team they post after having received comments in their original topic while a) they can just post their new ideas/team in their original opened topic and b) other people's topics are getting out of sight on the 2nd page and no one looks at that anymore.

Sounds good to me, if it's not too much work of course and if I am the only one that is like bothered by it. I just noticed it a few times throughout the past weeks. Thanks. I am just looking out there for all those who ended up on the 2nd/3rd page by now after this swarm of newbies took over right before the deadlock

How To Post a Screenshot of Your Team

I expect some computers are configured differently, but this works for me:

Method 1
1) Log onto your team.
2) Take a screenshot (PrintScreenSysRq on my keyboard).
3) Open 'Paint' (via 'All Programs -> Accessories -> Paint), click on 'Edit', then 'Paste'. This should bring up the last screenshot you took.
4) Use 'Paint' to crop the screenshot down to just your team, then 'save' it as a jpeg file.

5) Now open a web browser page and visit a free file hosting site. There are several available. Links are provided to a few below - or see Method 2 below.
6) Follow that site's instructions for hosting your jpeg file.
7) Copy the appropriate url thus provided for use on a forum (leave this page open in case you need to return to it!).

8) Log on to FISO in a new window and navigate to your post where you wish to add the screenshot (or any picture you choose to have hosted).
9) Paste the url where you want it.
10) Click on 'Preview' to ensure you have things right! (If not, return to your hosting site browser page and try a different Forum url).

And that, (I think!) is that!

A few free file hosting sites:
ImageShack
xs.to
Photobucket

Method 2
First, follow steps 1 to 4 above.
5) Start your own RMT thread (or continue your old one!) and click on 'Post Reply'.
Scroll down to Filename (just below the Submit button) and click on Browse.
6) Navigate to your saved jpeg and enter it (click on it, then click Open).
7) Click on Add The File.
8) You should now see your jpeg immediately below your post, listed in a new box - 'Attachments'. Put the cursor on your post where you want to display your team and click on Place Inline.

And that should be that! You can check all is well by 'Previewing' your post.

What did you try there? If you use the attach file option and select that image you can then click "add the file" then "add inline".

p.s. I wouldn't leave that reference to your PC name in your initial post just in case

Has something changed. I used to find that uploading a screen shot was easy. Now I can't make it work.
I followed the original Method 2 instructions on my iPad and got lost.
Am I alone? What am I missing?
Thanks

Not sure what the ipad interface is like (does it use a mobile or a desktop version?) but on desktop, use the full editor, and click the attachments tab.

Or just use option 1, but please avoid outdated sites like imageshack and photobucket and just use imgur instead.
