Hi all,

Current team, did very well this week with 75 points:

Fabianski, Hamer
Alonso, Robertson, PvA, AwB, Mendy (inj)
Salah, Mane, Richarlison, Gray (inj), Hudson-Odoi
Aguero, Mitrovic, Ings

Looking to wildcard to this, I was hoping to hold out until 15 but too many flags I think and too many players I want. Hazard's goal last night really prompted this. Kane and a mid to Salah and Ings probably in GW9, also Trippier to Robertson long term:

Hart, 4.0
Alonso, Trippier, AwB, Doherty, Balbuena
Hazard, Maddison (or any up to 7.4), Richarlison, Fraser, Hojberg
Aguero, Kane, Mitrovic

The CRY, WHU, WOL rotation is excellent up to Christmas and also gives me decent first subs.

Any thoughts, comments, etc appreciated. It's a chance to get Kane for the best two fixtures of the season and then switch back to Salah, I think I am too Liverpool heavy for this week and would end up on a -8 with Mendy and Gray both likely out.

But your current squad doesn't look in need of a WC to me. I appreciate the desire for other assets and I really hope you are right re Harry. But I would stick or just do 1 transfer for now.

Cheers mate! I had a look and my team looks in a similar state to yours pre wildcard, do you now regret pushing the button?

I just look at the team and I can't see a clean sheet from any of my def, only maybe one return from either Salah or Mane, and would back Wolves def over Ings. I think if I leave my team I'd be lucky to get 40 points.

Whereas I think now is the time to target Huddersfield and Cardiff as they are the two worst teams. Both Spurs, Burnley, Liverpool and Fulham play them twice in the next 6.

Mendy and Gray definitely out, so it's either wildcard as above or do Trippier/Doherty and Fraser/Gudmundson in. Any thoughts?

I've pulled the trigger, couldn't justify an 8 point hit at this stage when the wildcard was still available.



Next week Sterling to Hazard
Week after Kane and Maddison to Salah and Ings/Jiminez for - 4.

That team looks good, I'd look to schedule yours transfers differently though. You were concerned about a -8 and now plan a -4, so that means wild-carding to save a -4.

Cheers. It was a - 8 this week but then it would have been another - 4 next week and probably the week after, and still having a non playing sub. The squad structure and bench now sorted through to Christmas save for moving between the premium options.

Thinking of benching Fraser this week to play AWB and Doherty....

Disappointing game week score of 50 (-4). Mistake was to remove Richarlison last week but keep Maddison. Transfer already done for this week - Arnie in for Mitro.

Could also switch Sterling for Mane at any point once Salah has been downgraded to Hazard...
