I'm top in an important mini-league. I really need some advice on what to do here.
I have a tonne in the bank, so I have a few different options. Here's what I'm toying between:
Mertesacker Azpilicueta
Fonte Azpilicueta
Collins Azpilicueta
Jedinak Mutch (Choo choo!)
I can absorb hits on Mertesacker and Sterling. I want to keep the option of doing Lukaku Agüero if and when.
Any thoughts hugely appreciated!

I'd start with the question many of us are asking - should Aguero be fit in GW34, would you bring him in for Sturridge or for Lukaku?
After you've decided that one, then you can think about moves to get there in three transfers. I think I'd start by calculating how much spare cash I had (after the Aguero decision is made) and then look at Sterling out for someone. With a potentially injured Collins, it looks to me as though you'll be forced to play either a (likely) benched Sterling or Jedinak, which is not choice at all really.
My own front seven is very similar, although I have Adam Johnson in for Sterling. You could probably invest in Gerrard (although I think I'd avoid that for now as I think the time for that was over the last couple of weeks) or as you say switching Jedinek for Mutch but this is a bit of a sideways move and I think I'd concentrate on getting some of that bank money out on the pitch.
I do also think that swapping out Mertesacker is a good idea, but doing it for a hit is probably not worth it. Chelsea defenders are the obvious candidates to bring in, although you could also consider doubling up on Everton's defence with GW34 in mind.

Re: RMT - Need advice!
That's some awesome advice! Thanks! I often get caught up in things and don't think about the big picture. I like the idea of Sterling <someone>. Who <someone> should be... I'm not sure!
I would do Lukaku Agüero. So that gives me 1.5m to play with. So I could do Sterling <someone for 7.0m>. I have no idea who I'd get in for that though! If I did Sturridge Agüero instead, then I'd have 8.4m to play with. Then I could get Lallana in for Sterling. But I'd quite like to get even more DGW 34 coverage.
Gah, decisions decisions!

Re: RMT - Need advice!
If it helps, my own thought is that I will quite possibly lose Sturridge for Aguero in GW34. This is a calculated risk since Lukaku has the nice DGW in 34 but also I think I will want Rooney added too by GW36. I still think Sturridge will score well, but Aguero and Rooney will be getting the armband so are more valuable.
I will bring Sturridge back in instead of Rooney if Man Utd and/or RVP are ruining Rooney's potential by that time. The loss of investment on Sturridge is of little consequence so late in the game, and there will be plenty of sensible ways to raise the funds in those last few weeks.

Re: RMT - Need advice!
Interesting... I hadn't thought about dropping Sturridge. But that makes sense about Lukaku having a nice DGW.
I just don't know which midfielder still. Lallana doesn't really excite me for some reason. What about Schürrle? Or I could just get Johnson and be even more similar to you . Feels like a good bet given his two DGWs in sight.

Re: RMT - Need advice!
I brought Johnson in a few weeks back when he had two good fixtures and a DGW coming up. You'll still get the other two DGWs and will get the WH game, but I feel if you can afford it, then Lallana is a better bet, although this is obviously reflected in his price. Lallana has an excellent home fixture in GW34 and even though AJ has two, he could easily be outscored by Lallana in that game.
If I could do Johnson Lallana right now without a hit, I'd consider it.

Hmm, yeh. Both have City and United though. Another reason for Johnson is the person behind me in the important league also has Johnson and I assume he'll keep him in. I'm 32 points ahead, and maybe I'm being too cautious going for the same players, but it seems sensible!
Thanks so much for your advice by the way! Much appreciated and has made me think lots!
