A really big spend on GKs and forwards. A tiny spend on defence. Your M5 costs more than your D1 but you can't play 8 attackers and you must play at least 3 defenders. When would you ever play Hart if you own Allison?

Hart is 4.5, when I play bench boost I'll need a 4.5

I'm not a fan of big defence, Magnus carlsen world chess champ isn't either

I don't do balance, I just pick the players I think will score most points and with Arsenal and spurs fixture shift I'm glad I have money up front and midfield

Following a pre determined script of where you should spend your money makes no sense at all

Are you planning on playing BB soon? If so I understand why you would have Hart although personally I wouldn't choose the Burnley GK as my 4.5. If however you aren't going to play BB until the DGWs then it's just 0.5m wasted. Also Pope will be back by then so it's unlikely Hart will still be between the sticks. Also are you sure Hart is the GK you want for your BB?

The bit about Carlsen is an argumentum ab auctoritate. I'm not sure I understand your point :? .

I agree that following a predetermined script makes no sense. That isn't my point. My worry was that you would find it difficult to transition to a different team structure should the squad you have picked not live up to your expectations.

There's a lot of crossover between different games. For example many of the top backgammon players came from chess and bridge. The world no.1 for many years was also the US scrabble champion. Many of my friends from the backgammon world are now professional poker players.

It doesn't always work out though. I know a couple of chess grandmasters who can't play backgammon to save their lives despite spending years studying it. I also know a few mediocre backgammon players who are now making a very good living from poker. A good friend of mine was the highest rated chess player in Wales, has won the British championship twice at backgammon, has represented England at bridge, has written 14 books on chess, bridge, backgammon, scrabble, gambling, & puzzles and yet is a truly terrible FPL player.

Very interesting. He's doing very well. The rest of his fellow grandmasters in the Grandmaster mini-league not so much  .

Yes, in addition to being probably the greatest chess player of all time, he's annoyingly good at FPL. :?

Seems a good week for a punt, cap picks will be spread a bit although loaded towards City, but Rashford Auba and Kane shoukd limit the damage.

So Rondon it is , more shots that any other stiker last 5 weeks , with 16, and Fulham defence still appalling. Tinker man is at it again, Odoi at rb for example. In this case I don't blame him, he has to try things out but Fulham are incapable of parking the bus, Byran and Ream were so bad last game its almost laughable.

Fulhams best form of defence is attack, I believe Ronders will fill his boots

4 2 to Newcastle, Ronders hattyImage

Interesting.

Doubt I’ll have the cojones to captain him, but I’ve now done Jimenez Rondon. This will be reversed next week as Jimenez has Fulham
