Weren't you banging on about how the WC MUST be saved for the doubles this year and criticising folk, but then proceeded to use yours outside the doubles?

Had debates yes, probably , it's what we do in discussion forums isn't it
I play for mini leagues anyway, so what I would probably say in a general debate is totally different to what I may do myself

No point saving a WC if you are 100 behind a 1000 quid cash league

Gwk1 bench boost

Prices have been squeezed into the middle ground it seems, the budget doesn't go far and there are slim pickings at 4 and 4.5m

It does look like the bench boost is weakened because of it and if some sexy cheapies come through the ranks they won't be cheap later in the season Image

A lot of similar players to mine, but I guess most of us will be in that boat at first. I like the Kane pick but I'm just too worried about Sterling/Aguero but I'm sure you've weighed that up.

Would you consider Fab and Zinch -> Ederson and Diop? Mainly for security of city starts.

Thought about it tbh, but I still think Gibson may end up being a starter if Tawko goes , so keeping the the 4m slot

I've got 1.5m banked with this set up to jump on Sterling/Kun if needed

I'm not convinced by Sterling as a false 9, and Kane looks ripped in training

I like that Billy, it's almost identical to the 4-4-2 set up I'm considering.

Only difference is you have Fraser/Vardy for 16.5 and I have Robertson/KDB for 16.5, oh, and I've got Henderson as keeper.

I was on the Robbo KDB but then remembered I hate losing two cs and panicked , decided to cheer on the goal scorers

Would have to have to wait on two cs watching a TV game

:D I can't argue with that, it's horrible watching games for the clean sheet, far more enjoyable waiting for goals.

Probably not much between our selections, I just think City and Liverpool are so far ahead of the other teams that Robertson/KDB will come out on top but maybe not much in it.

Have you considered Martial for Fraser? I know Bournemouth have a great GW1 & 2 but if Martial playing as a striker....

And if you want under the radar players Fraser is 20% and Martial is 3% :D

I've considered Martial and still am, ( kdb has a lot of value )

Thing is Rashford still UK front and Martial very temperamental, Fraser the place holder really to see who comes through

indeed, Martial a real risk, I think he's got more natural talent than Rashford and OGS looks to at times want to pair them together, or at least interchange so both could play each week and do well.

Fraser a good place holder with those opening two fixtures.

I've looked at dropping a striker and trying to free up a bit of money from defence to go 4-5-1 with:

Salah/Sterling/KDB/Martial/Perez - if KDB then becomes Son it's basically five midfielders who all more or less play up front.

Leave them set in stone and just move the 6.5m striker to whoever has a nice fixture block.

Leicester looked far more 433 yesterday, with AllofBrighton on the other side of Vardy to Perez.

Charity Shield and injurys tweek

Moura Lamela look good value , Ali injury good news for their mins but I'm hedging my bets that I'll need Son for Newcastle , so will sell a Bou gwk3 to fun it , probably Fraser to whichever 6.5 Leicester mid looks the biz

IMHO...
1. Vardy & Perez is an overkill.
2. Your defence looks decidingly ... weak. Only VVD is a set & forget player... all the others will require lots of monitoring costing you transfers and headaches.
3. Origi as a punt is good enough, but personally I wouldn't want planned transfers even before the season started.

Decent input

I however fancy Leicester to score a lot of goals

defence is only weak when compared to the overkill defences being pushed this season, it's strong when taken in isolation , I'm just not a fan of ridiculously over loaded defences

Origi , Hmmm, great tip in another thread, Fraser Auba for two weeks then swop to Sterling gwk3

I like this team much better.
Still top heavy and will require much OGS.
Very interesting.

I'd still replace Heaton. He won't keep many CSs.
