Yes, nice team. Looks like it’ll be a point of two better than mine in 5AS :?

Did Mount  Martial as I believe Citeh will punish Chelsea for their Anfield humiliation.
The gw after, I'll reconsider brining in Pulisic, perhaps as part of trimming the access Aguero fat and redestributing the wealth.
One other disturbing thought that came to mind was Kane as a super punt (or was it 'pants') ... who will start scoring braces and hattricks out of the blue... or not.

That was pre-Jose or even knowing he is taking over at Spurs.
The Oracle has spoken!

I'd say keeping is better than buying Kane.

I doubt TSO will have been abel (😂😂😂) to do much in a day or three before the first match patience has an advantage. However if I had to name 3 for a Random Comp in Spurs FPL Points from here in I'd probably go Gazzinga, Alli and Kane.

Have another 1.3m itb so probably a little defensive upgrade next.

Soyuncu is still great value, or how about a Burnley defender? I know they play City but the other fixtures are good. I would have got Tarkowski but only needed a bench warmer to replace Pieters so went Taylor.

Edit as I now see you already have three Leicester

Thanks.

The defensive upgrade will only materialise next Gw... and I would gladly swap Maddison with Soyuncu, better VFM.
I'm benching Maddison as it is ... :|

Don't feel so bad now I benched Maddison, seeing as Tammy might miss another game...

On here somewhere. Someone quoted or something rather vague ie full of could and hope...

I've Martial as 1st sub, as I doubt Tammy will get 10-20 mins from the bench, unless they are losing. (I upgraded Martinelli to Ings and have the same front 3 as you....)

Thanks :)

He could still only get a 20 cameo or start and do F-all for 60 before Giroud reappears.
It's him or Martial for me atm and I must say, I am tempted to give Martial a last shot before he is out of my team.

That Tammy thing worked out a treat so he also gets a reprieve and doesn't get transferred out.
Son was a bit of a disappointment against United, but I hope that now he got a lively Alli next to him (in my team) they will exact some revenge vs Burnley.

This is my team for GW16:

Schmeichel
Dunk, Willems, Lundstram
Mane, KdB, Son, Alli
Vardy, Ings, Abraham

===---___---===
Steklenburg, Zaha, Soyuncu, Tomori

Hoping for a bit more than a 'meh' in results...

An interesting and unorthodox squad that - plenty of solid and logical picks that still serve as somewhat differentials. A lot to like there.

In the last 7 GWs, made a little progress from an OR of 3,132,111 to 814,371 which is still shite, but the sight of green arrows is an excellent mood upper.
An interesting issue is that an the end of the first day of matches in this current GW, my GwR was at around 1.6m and OR at 800k. At the end of the second day of matches, the GwR improved to 1.2m but the OR dropped to 814k. Some 14k Vardy Captainers no doubt...

Anywho... did a modest Tomori  Kelly on Saturday but a bit miffed at not going for Aurier now.
Also want Rashford in and maybe Alli out at some point... imho Alli is as reliable as Sterling atm. Son is a far better option.

This is my team for GW17...

I had a similar experience between Saturday and Sunday, GW ranking improved, OR down.

Who would you be shifting to get Rashford in? That’s something else we have in common

Similar recent trajectory as my rabble, and same front 3. I want Kane for Sterling and after this weekend it could be Tammy who goes. Then when Soton's run finishes I'll go back to 532.

Chelsea looked tired and stale against a hoofball team from 30-50 years ago....

I think that Lampard's initial excitment and his boys' youthful enthusiasm will now come short compared to the experienced, more mature teams. His lack of management experience, is inferior to those of most other managers, never mind Klopp or Pep and the steam will simply run out.
I'll probably get rid of Tammy too for Rashford, though with great trepadition as OGS is almost as skillful as FFL is.

For some daft reason im looking at dumping Mount for Martial to join Alli, Kane Vardy and Ings as my front 5.

Is that a bad thing?

I'm kinda hoping he'll be injured after the 2 GW's it will take me to get him in. Roll this one and get Sterling vs Arse then double to Kane plus base....

My plan wants to involve Son and Rashford, for which I need a bit of cash
KDB and Abraham was enough until a couple of days ago. For a hit elsewhere it may still be doable

If Martial was playing for Newcastle, you would have been muttering that he is yet another failed French striker, at least VFM wise. But he plays for a club motivated by its reputation rather than skill and gets lots of discount for not deluvering @FPL and lots of respect from most other teams' defenders for the exact same reason. This much hype is never sustainable over a long run.

I agree re Abraham... but KDB stays in my team unless broken. If & when Citeh emerge from their current 'playing/swimming in treacle' form, KDB will be the first to be involved in any point scoring.

The Martial things purely about him being OOP and has very few blanks in matches that he has started....
