Elk your poem was a disgrace, I was being ironic. Anyone would have thought you were deliberately trying to take the pish. But that's not your style, surely :wink:

I read it as "the person who invited me into the mini-league"?

His name is Milan Gajic,
He looks like Nemanja Vidic,
He's crap at pool,
plays like a tool,
I've always beaten him without a hitch

except the 7 baller, which I'm sure he will mention :)

Trouble is Daz that due to his constant supping Elk has gone from "Fast Milan" (His wife nickname :lol: ) To "Nuneaton Fats" :lol: :lol:

Striker wrote:So they are saying that it's alright if without consultation with Mrs Striker (who knows as much about football as the average fiso-ite knows about 5th century Serbo-Croat history) I enter five teams in my name and five teams in her name?

If that's the case, and I'm assuming it is based on what you say, Suzykins, then the Daily Mail are idiots to place a limit on the entries of any one person.

P.S. If our canine household member wins next year, does anyone on here have the financial skills to help me cash the cheque? BTW he's a bit confused at the moment as he's having to learn a new name. Toby sounds a more realistic winner's name than his current moniker.
Going through some old emails and this was what they actually said Striker;
Thank you for your recent email on the subject of potential cheating.
We are in the process of investigating a number of managers that we have been notified us of. These things do take time, and we do not have additional resources to look into this, but they WILL be investigated in due course. Some name that have been mentioned have already been investigated earlier in the season, and we are satisfied that they are controlling their teams and are not in breach of the terms.
Please note that the terms state “Participants found to have registered more than five teams may be removed from the MailOnline Game, disqualified and not be eligible to win prizes. If you do not provide your real name when registering, you may not be able to claim any prize for which you otherwise would be eligible. Entries must not be submitted by agents or third parties and such entries will be deemed void”

So, managers can seek advice from their friends or family to help them win, but as long as the named manager is the sole person in charge of the team they are eligible to win prizes.

Kind regards,
MailOnline Fantasy Football
to which I asked;
Thank you fantasy games,
So to confirm my wife could enter next season in her own name & it would be ok for me to give her advice how best to set up her team & also if she asked me what I thought about potential transfers ?
and they confirmed;
Yes, that is right. As long as your wife is the sole person in charge of the team, that is ok. We cannot stop people conferring with their family anymore than we could stop someone talking to their friends or colleagues.
So basically its a thumbs up :o

Thanks Suzykins. I'd describe it as a cop out. The Mail knows and we know, that some of the female managers rather than being in sole control of their team possibly aren't even aware of it's existence until they are told that they are in the running for a holiday, new dress and shoes if their team wins.

They are actively encouraging people to "cheat" and legitimising it by having rules which are a total nonsense as it is impossible to enforce "as long as the named manager is the sole person in charge of their team."

They're confirming it's pointless having a team limit because it's essentially legally unenforceable. Like so much around contract law, morality doesn't come into it.
