If I remember rightly, in Mail games in the past, it was the average score of all the teams in a mini-league (as opposed to the average of just the top five, as in TFF) that determined where your mini-league finished in the table, which of course gives a mini-league with only five members (who are all committed and trying) a big advantage over a huge 'allcomers' mini-league entry. I can't see from the T & C etc which applies this year. Does anyone know? If it is as it was in the past, it may be worth forming a few 'fives' as we did then.

If it's just the top five who count, I'll happily enter all my teams in this league.

I had a reply regarding this....

Basically it is the same as years gone by where as all the teams in a mini league contribute to the leagues average score. Therefore it will probably be a league made up of 5 teams doing well at the cut off that will be likely to win the mini league prize. The difference this year is that the cut-off for mini league entry to be eligible for the prize is 23.59pm on 4th March 2016!!!!

You couldn't make it up. Well, we should simply wait till March next year and get the 5 FISO-ites with the best scores at that point to form a league to win it.

Can you enter your team into several different leagues, by the way?

Yeah you can enter teams in more then one league. Be careful tho as you only enter 10 different leagues with each team!!! :P :P :P

Edit - that might not be 10 leagues with each team actually? Might be 10 leagues per person? Still more than enough though!! :D

A private Mail ML sub-forum is available come Feb/ March if required, I can remove any current members not involved in any discussions for the 2015/16 season and add those that are when necessary, remember to give me a nudge if wanted.

With the cut-off being March its highly likely that only teams in the top 100 or even top 50 need bother tbh!! Especially with all the extra codes needed for one thing and another!! One missed 'euro scout' or "double point' code and you've had it I reckon??.. Time will tell I suppose??..

Depends on how badly they screw up the scoring as it goes along :-)

Anyone know of any other Silent Manager games this season? (that are open to everyone, not including this and MOTD).

Evening art - no other games as yet, but chroma/silentmanager have moved to much bigger premises in hove i think, so they' are expanding and looking for more clients no doubt; they have lots of racing apps and tie-ins with bookies and racecourses over here, more fantasy games in the antipodes at the moment. Plenty of time - they are often rushing around at the last minute trying to sign up new "partners".

I tried to play that MOTD one. They had plastic wrap on the MOTD mag in the supermarket so ethics procluded me from ripping it off and taking a peak at the latest code. 8-)
