Strangely, I don't "belong" to any forum. Although I am perfectly within my rights to post on both, no?
Think of it more like the Sun syndicates, I choose who I want to team up with in order to increase my chances of winning some dough ...
You are perfectly in your rights to post in any forum you want.

However, it doesn't appear that you were wanting to team up, given your mocking of last years fiso effort.

Lighten up son, it's only a bit of a laugh.

Although I think it's pretty clear who I'll be teaming up with, especially if it'll be Vid running your show

Try lifting your games to shut me up ...

As a matter of interest, why was the fiso ml such a shambles last year?
I finished 30 something and I thought there were alot of familiar names above me.

I don't think it was particularly a case of fiso'ers not performing well individually, it was just the grouping of managers that was left a little late.

It takes a huge amount of organisation to put these leagues together, so there is a lot to learn from last year.
On the plus side, the only way surely is up.

The Mail is not one of the bigger games for banter, so in the first instance any mini league formed will promote this.

From my point of view, I will just aim for one of the top prizes and will be glad to help any fiso league nearer deadline day. This is motivation enough.

As for lightening up, I have lost 12 pounds in two months on the 5+2 diet :)

Currently we have 9 FISO members entering 19 teams and Redknapp's team making it 20 in the ML.

As previously stated, this ML is not in competition for the ML prizes, what it is in competition for is

Chairman’s award: Chairmen of Mini Leagues that have 10 or more teams registered in a Mini League (Jamie Redknapp’s team does not count as one of these 10) at the earliest scheduled kick-off of the first match of the English Premier League season on Saturday, August 17, 2013 will be entered into a draw to win £1,000. The draw will be conducted by an independent adjudicator and the winner posted on the MailOnline Fantasy Football Game Site and informed by email.

9 different managers so far so one more is needed in the coming week to be eligible for the draw for the £1k, which if won becomes a prize fund for this ML.

Hmm, the same team appears to be leading the FISO ML too

2nd overall with 88.40 average, which therefore is the average of the top 5, not all teams

Highest Scoring Mini League: The best-performing Mini League in the MailOnline Fantasy Football Game will win £4,000. This will be awarded to the Mini League with a MINIMUM of five individually participating teams, not including Jamie Redknapp’s team, that scores the highest average points total based upon all of its teams. In the event of a tie for the Mini League prize, a tiebreaker will be used to determine the winner.

Not sure how much you can believe that. I emailed them about mini-leagues and they said you need a minimum of seven people. So if those terms are wrong about the number of people they could easily be wrong about averages.

The written rules are more likely to be right than an individual customer services agent.

Possibly but in two other places it says seven people and only on that one does it say five. Plus the leagues have actually been calculated as an average of the whole league already :?

edit: I mean not the average of the whole league.
