MailOnline Fantasy Football Terms and Conditions
Last Updated On 1 August 2017
If you want to enter a fantasy football team ("Team") into one of the fantasy football leagues operated and provided by Perform Media Services Ltd through the MailOnline mobile application (the "MailOnline Fantasy App"), online via http://fantasyfootball.mailonline.co.uk (the "Site"), Twitter login or Facebook Connect you need to read each of Sections A, B and C of these terms and conditions. The online service MailOnline Fantasy Football is a division of Associated Newspapers Limited ("ANL"), whose registered office address is at Northcliffe House, 2 Derry Street, London, W8 5TT ("MailOnline").

By downloading the MailOnline Fantasy App or registering a Team through the MailOnline Fantasy App, Facebook Connect or via the Site (together, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (which include Sections A (MailOnline Fantasy Leagues), B (MailOnline Fantasy Competitions) and C (General Information)) (the “Terms and Conditions”).

These Terms and Conditions (including our Privacy Policy) may be changed at any time. We will ensure that any new or revised version is posted in the MailOnline Fantasy App and on the Site and will send notification of any changes to your Account inbox and by a pop-up message in the MailOnline Fantasy App before the change takes effect. The new or revised version of the Terms and Conditions will take effect on the date set out.

The promoter of the MailOnline Fantasy Football Competitions (described in Section B below) is Perform Media Services Ltd of Sussex House, Plane Tree Crescent, Feltham, TW13 7HE (“PMSL”, “we” or “us”).

A. MAILONLINE FANTASY LEAGUES
WHAT ARE THEY?
1. The MailOnline Fantasy Leagues are fully automated free to enter fantasy football leagues. You can enter a Team into any (or all) of the fantasy leagues ("Fantasy Leagues") available to enter from time to time. The MailOnline Fantasy Leagues are combined with the Goal Fantasy Leagues (available via the Goal Fantasy App and on www.goal.com) which is also promoted by PMSL. You acknowledge and agree that by entering into the MailOnline Fantasy Leagues you will also be participating and competing against players that have entered the Goal Fantasy Leagues and that all eligible players from such channels have the same chance to win the applicable prizes.
WHO CAN REGISTER A TEAM?
2. You can register a Team if you live in the United Kingdom, or in any other country where participating in fantasy football competitions is legal. If you live outside the United Kingdom and register a Team, you promise us that it is legal for you to do so. Please note that persons under the age of 18 years or any non-UK residents are not eligible to win a prize in any MailOnline Fantasy Football Competition. By registering a Team and participating (and continuing to participate) in the MailOnline Fantasy Leagues, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to such terms. Please see paragraphs 32-35 for further information.
HOW CAN I REGISTER A TEAM?
3. Before you can register a Team, you must register for an account with PMSL (“Account”). You can register for an Account:
a.by downloading the MailOnline Fantasy App to a compatible device and either: (i) completing a simple registration form, providing us with some basic information about yourself (including your name, date of birth, email address and favourite football team); or (ii) selecting to register using Facebook Connect (Facebook will provide the information we need for you); or
b.by completing a simple registration form on the Site.
4.When providing us with information about yourself during registration of a Team, you promise us that this information, including your date of birth, is correct. You acknowledge that we will rely on this information when determining the information and features you will receive when using the Services. If we discover that you have provided any information which is incorrect, we reserve the right to close your Account (and remove your Team(s) from the Fantasy League(s)) immediately.
5.After registering for an Account you will be asked to verify your email address. It is recommended that you do this as soon as possible, as you will not be eligible to receive a prize if you have not verified your email address.
6.Once you have completed the application process, you will be able to select which Fantasy League you would like to enter a Team into, the players for your Team, and your very own Team name.
7. You may not open more than one Account.
8. PMSL may suspend or close your Account if it believes:
a. you have more than one Account; and/or
b. you have failed to comply with any other provision of these Terms and Conditions.
IS THERE A DEADLINE FOR REGISTERING A TEAM?
9. No - you can register a Team at any time for any Fantasy League.
10. If you register a Team after the start of the season for the applicable Fantasy League, your Team will start to collect points from the start of the next match (as applicable).
DOES IT COST ANYTHING TO REGISTER A TEAM?
11. No! You can register one Team absolutely free for each of our Fantasy Leagues.
12. If you wish to enter additional Teams, you can, by purchasing additional MailOnline Fantasy Credits (see paragraph 21 below).
HOW DO I SELECT MY TEAM?
13. After you have completed the registration process, and selected which Fantasy League you want to enter a Team into, you will be provided with a list of all eligible players to select from, together with the 'value' of each player.
14. You must select 11 players to form your Team, but remember that the total value of all the players you select cannot exceed the standard Team budget (which will be displayed when selecting your Team, and is the same for all Managers). Your Team must be formed of the number of defenders, midfielders and forwards that corresponds to the applicable formation selected, and may have a maximum of four players from any one club.
15. The value assigned to each player is calculated by PMSL on the basis of the player's popularity with all of the registered Managers (which is linked to their real-world performance and situation), and will change throughout the season (for example, if a player's performance improves greatly, he might become popular in the Fantasy Leagues, which would result in an increase in his value).
CAN I TRANSFER PLAYERS?
16.Yes! Use our PlayerDAQ to monitor the value of players in the league, and decide when to transfer out underperforming or unavailable players in order to strengthen your squad.
17.You may make one free transfer per week (except for bonus weeks, where you may make two transfers). You can also use MailOnline Fantasy Credits to purchase up to three additional transfers each week. All transfers must be made by the transfer deadline specified in any given week, which, in any event, shall be prior to kick-off of the first game in that week.
HOW DO I WIN POINTS?
18. Points are awarded when one of the following events occurs for a player in your Team during a match:
EVENT Points
Starting Line-up 2
Substitute Appearance 1
Goal by Goal Keeper or Defender 7
Goal by Midfielder 6
Goal by Forward 5
Assist 3
Red Card -5
For every two saves by Goal Keeper 1
Captain's Points Your captain is awarded double points
Clean Sheet - Goal Keeper and Defenders only 5
Goal Conceded - Goal Keeper and Defenders only -1
Goal Keeper - Penalty saved 5
Penalty Taker - Penalty missed -3
19.PMSL's decision regarding the points to be awarded for players will be final.
WHAT CAN I USE MAILONLINE FANTASY CREDITS FOR?
20.MailOnline Fantasy Credits are a virtual currency used to access the additional features within the MailOnline Fantasy App. You can use MailOnline Fantasy Credits to:

HOW DO I GET EXTRA MAILONLINE FANTASY CREDITS?

All payments for MailOnline Fantasy Credits are processed through the Google Play Store, Apple Store (as applicable) or our payment processing provider and not by PMSL nor by MailOnline.

23. MailOnline Fantasy Credits cannot be 'cashed out' and exchanged for real money. There is no expiry date for MailOnline Fantasy Credits, but if your Account has been inactive for at least 12 months (you have not signed in to your Account, there has been no game play, you have made no transactions or interactions) PMSL will notify you by email to the email address used to register. If your Account remains inactive for a total of at least 24 months, PMSL may close your Account and any remaining MailOnline Fantasy Credits will be removed.

Payment must be made made via iTunes, Google Play or by credit card; debit card; or through another current, valid, accepted method of payment including supported third party payment providers (“Payment Method”). You confirm that any such Payment Method that you use is yours, or that you have the authorisation of the card or account holder to use it. Thriving subforum. Got a team on a modest 1309 a fair way off the pace plus 259th in the Champions League version. Just a simple minute checking once a week though the leader is probably more up with utilizing all the features to get their present score. Probably quiet here as they seem to have overcomplicated what was a popular game with an option of purchasing 'credits' which I doubt many have at all. The CL and Euroleagues versions look good if they didn't have the new addons.
