Unfortunately, I have had to remove you from the league, as it's been brought to my attention that you are 15 years old, thus not old enough to be eligable to win, should we be that fortunate.

Many apologies.

May I suggest you enter FPL :)

A lot of strong players in here this year, we are missing a few of the stalwarts from last season though, art & ted amongst others.

Good luck all. Thanks for arranging Rich :D

My top team has 222 points with 6 players to go.

Not sure if that's any good or not....... time will tell. But a Man City clean sheet would be rather good.

I worked last season on 50 points a player (x2 for capt)... so 5-600 is a good-ish score 700+ tends to make strides up the table,

and of course if you captain berbatov when he wellies in 5, and on checking the leaderboard no-one else has him and you happen to be in the top 500 at the time...but instead of giving him the armband when your wife, who knows nothing of football but she like the name, suggests it, you transfer him out...you become a bitter and twisted home brew drinker

Just looking through some teams near the top (see what they are doing and I'm not)..... Hartzy has very strong subs benches...none of whom will count this week...cunning game plan...or game mis-interpretation?

I noticed that too Ingle - unless he put them on the bench to confound us after the deadline today or to prepare for next week....

Nice synopsis of the points system 50 points is the benchmark, 70 average and you have a very good week. Will be less frustrating this year with the subs kicking in though :)

The homebrow must shorten your memory you've been on it as long as you've been posting :P

Miss me no longer 8-)

A combination of waiting until the last few days to see what happened with Fabregas, Nasri, Tevez etc and my internet connection* disappearing for a few days meant it was a bit of last minute job for me. But I got there in the end 8-)

Not sure I want everyone knowing my teams but I'll stick at least one in for entertainment value.

You'll be hoping for low scoring games today and tomorrow then Hartzy :)

Art - the league was open last year and for me it was part of the added charm of this one. I can understand some people not wanting to let others know they've captained Formica though

I have made a very poor school boy error this weekend. I have left Tim Cahill in one of my teams as a Starting 11 player. (Shows I have too many teams to manage)

I am assumining that my first SUB will take over via the Auto Sub rule, in which case Vicor Moses will get the points indue course

Can anyone confirm if this assumption is correct.

That's what supposed to happen - it takes the first player from your 1,2,3,4 order that will make a valid formation.

e.g. You are playing a 433 Cahill in your starting XI but not playing, sub number one is Reina will be ignored, sub number 2 is Bent who will also be ignored as 424 would not be a valid formation, Moses is sub 3 and should be picked up as the sub.

I've tried to go for the more flexible of the formations for this reason.

However you never know what will happen with this game.
