£50 - £100 finders fee offered!
Good afternoon ladies and gents, I have mentioned this before, but not entirely sure if anyone actually thought I was being serious....
I work for an office interiors and office furniture company, targetting companies/organisations who have either 1,000+ square metres of office space or a minumum of 100 office employees and are either moving offices or refurbing their current premises. We specialise in space planning, furniture consultancy and the supply of office furniture.
Typically we look to be in conversation with said companies around 12-18 months before they intend to move/refurb.
If any one on FISO has any information about companies who have any of the above plans, please do let me know. (This could also included mergers and acquisitions, lease expiry information or their current furniture is dated and damaged).
If and when any information given to me turns into a sale, then I will pay upto a £100 finders fee to who ever highlighted it to me. The bigger the requirement, the bigger the fee.
Please drop me a PM (or note in this thread) if any of the above is or becomes relevant to you.
The companies who we have worked for in the past include:- Dominoes Pizza, Quintiles*, Eversheds, Orange, Thales, Coca Cola, Aardman Animation, Woodlands Trust, Britvic, Virgin Mobile and many others.
*The Quintiles project was 120,000 sq ft of office space!
Kind Regards
Rich

1,000 sq ft office refurb = c. £50k to £100k?
You're offering £50 finders fee, so 0.05% to 0.1%
Sounds a bit tight to me - how about 1%?

36k (ish) sq ft. (2 1/3 floors) empty office space potentially being taken up by December by a large well known bank on the outskirts of Gatwick. I could be a rich man according to unc.

Thank Unc. However the fee I am offering would come out of my commission, which isn't exactly much.

Re: £50 - £100 finders fee offered!
They are in negotiation about rental fees currently. From experience on companies within the building I'm assuming it'll be sometime before the new year that they sign on the dotted line. Then the move will likely take place sometime early next year. All assumptions though.
I'll let you know when/if I hear it's a definate. The office space is still vacant and in a prime location so an open opportunity until it's filled.

only joking - don't know of any at the moment, but if I do I'll drop you a PM. In reality though I'm bound by confidentiality agreements so couldn't pass them on anyway.

Yes, although wouldn't normally unless I knew the firm.blahblah wrote:But you could tell them of Rich?
Couldn't accept finders fee anyway.
Would still pm rich to see what I could do if he opportunity arose though (no names basis). Pity this wasn't posted 12m ago. Had a contact sourcing a 13,000 sq foot office move that would have been a good lead. Just moved in actually.

Wouldn't necessarily need to know names anyway, that's where my expertise comes in. I am quite pleased I started this thread now, who knows where it could lead.
*edit to add....
Having just read you last message again re the "no names" thing, I realise that you meant that your name can't be mentioned in any conversations I should have with a prospect. Needless to say, that would be where I mention "my research team". Those people in my office that help with digging up info........ (even though they (Research team) don't exist)

Re: £50 - £100 finders fee offered!
I haven't bumped this baby up for a while.....
Still the same, there is a finders fee available to anyone giving me information that leads to a sale of Workplace and office furniture.
Looking for companies with lease expiries within the next 2 years, with the following office based staff at either a single location or headquarters:-
300 plus people if in a london office
150 plus people if in the South West, West Midlands, South Wales, Hampshire, Surrey etc
If it's prestigous company or a well known blue chip, then the staff numbers can be flexible.
Thank you.
Please be assured that any information given will be treated in the strictest of confidence, I will not mention where I got the information from if asked.....

In the last 12 months we have also been appointed by Volvo to sort them out with a complete furniture package for their new HQ in the Thames Valley.
With 16 years of experience, we are a very useful company to know in the marketplace.
