i'll be doing my first trade... Harvey -> someone

Greenwood is probably the best of the current 86k options.

By all accounts he's not really performing although he does have some "easier" games.

It's between Pavlich and Riewoldt for me.

The Black Dragon spaketh Kelly. Can you wait another week though? Time and again this season rookies have had a good first game followed by a rubbish second appearance.

It'd be Riewoldt for me too if I had the money (unless I had something else clever to do with it) but Franklin's a good option. Pavlich, if you don't have him, is just about as cheap as he's going to get. His record isn't great against West Coast but his rd5 score is proof that he can score big points. Giansiracusa is another option as is Alan Didak, although even if he scores well this week his price will drop so maybe now isn't the right time to get him in.

Some crazy guy on big footy was talking him up at the start of the season. Can't think who it was. :? Name like Tipper or something. :)

Okay after some careful consideration it's coming down to 3 options.

Harvey  Wirripanda

or

Harvey  McPhee
Harding  Hodge

or

Harvey  N Riewoldt
Petrenko  Greenwood

any help from the experts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

SF, i would steer clear of Wirra.... He's far too up and down in terms of DT. Some matches he'll play up forward in the pocket as a crumbing goalkicker, and often gets 30s or 40s...

I think the third option is best. Theyre both purposeful trades- Volt in ur squad is an awesome trade, and the downgrade to greenwood is a double-cash cow trade, where u use petrenkos increased value elsewhere, and are able to use greenwoods increased value later. just make sure he's named in the team and is playing this week

;) hope that helps

i agree with Zuluwarrior.

The Volt looks ominous this year. if you can afford him, get him.
also, you'd be silly to pick Wirrpanda or McPhee as a forward when they are available in the backs.

i'm leaning towards a single trade for Harvey. my best options are:
Franklin, Goodwin, B.Johnson, J.Brown, Fevola, Giansiracusa, and Brennan (the wildcard - Brisbane's version of Goddard)
haven't made up my mind as yet.

Coughlan - Richmond's version of Lenny Hayes (although, he's missed 2-3yrs of footy)

Dalziell owners should be contemplating him, i would think

Greenwood is down as IC so I'm leaving him for now.

Did Harvey  Warren which gave me enough cash to do

Petrenko  Chad so now I'm a very happy girl.

Hoefully I should have enough cash left over to do Harding  McPhee next round and then I'm good for trades unless injuries come up.

Yeh just did the Hasleby  Coughlan trade

Hasleby has a BE of 100, and even though he has averaged a ton+ in his derby, Im not willing to lose out on $$$ with that risk. He's averaged 75 this year, and reason i got him in was as a cash cow (with the benefit of half decent scores until he got the chop). I think Coughlan will average 85+ this year & sits well as my 7th Mid.

Plus the extra 120k in my bank will enable a Petrenko  Hodge next week

EDIT: Will bench Coughs this week vs. Sydney. Think Beams may score more under the roof at the dome, plus get plenty of tackles- so he starts this week. (there was a really good article in the Herald Sun today about how the Pies always play the boundary line. Im figuring that there will be plenty of contested ball tonight as the dome isnt too wide= tackle points for Beams  )

You're a brave man Zulu. 8-)

I'm going for the safer Hasleby  Hartlett if DT will still let me do it.
