Quick tennis quiz
Laura Robson has just got through to a WTA tennis final
She is the first Brit in ages to do it but....
1) Who was the last (bonus points for year)?
and for double points.....
2) Who was the last British woman to actually win one (bonus for year again)?
(No cheating and don't spoil it for everyone if you have read the answers this week in any article on Laura's run like what I did!)

Re: Quick tennis quiz
I'd never heard of her either. It was very unbritish of her to win a tournament although she makes up for that by setting a record when losing at the US Open to someone who had only just turned 14.Knulpuk wrote:She won a WTA event - late eighties I believe.Surprised wrote:Never heard of Sara Gomer

World Number 46
So Robson has a way to go yet before she can be considered one of the British greats.
