Brains of FISO - Vote Off poll

Post by murf »

Vote for those that play or are tempted to play our daily quiz

Just putting it to the vote to see what would be (un)popular if we decided to decide.

Work on the presumption we would vote in a 7th topic afterwards

(I'm not in charge so this vote isn't necessarily going to change anything - all up to saintmark who is doing a great job)

No Brainer. A round that isn't what it says it is. Pity as I would have liked History if it was real.

I'm not good at movies, TV, music or any subject that may have been studied at school.

and now there are three :D

I love history but this round always seems to attract questions on musicals or non historical questions. The nearest we came to history was the recent royal family round....

You'll never keep everyone happy but for me I see no point in having anything "easy" that just turns into a speed test. I haven't read back in the thread as to how the guest rounds work but I'd guess if you could gain the attention of more of FISO we could survive quite happily on guest rounds?

Are these categories we've not had?

BTW Thanks for doing this saintmark, it's a very popular pastime and we do moan about it a lot.

+1

There are enough (non-easy) ones there to get a good vote in poll if we go down this route.

Some categories could be voted out one month and back in the next (or vice versa). Yo yo like West Brom between the leagues!

Despite the fact its not what it says on the tin, I have no problem with the 'history' round as its usually what I'd call proper trivia questions. Its the 'what colour was the Colonels tie in the pilot of of Hiel Honey I'm Home' type things that are so specific it renders it useless.

I think the categories as they are are pretty good as everybody knows something about music, movies, literature, geography & S&T, albeit to varying degrees*.

*obviously this last statement does not include x-man who knows everything about everything.
