Somewhat crappy first three gameweeks left me in an unfamiliar position (5th position for the Galacticos). Still 5th, but on the "Named" list for opening day of FISO 5AS - and feeling better about things now. Go Galacticos!

A brief (ha) history of the Reprobates. As I type this, I think I feel how MoSe does when he delves into mini-league member stats although I wish I had his formatting skills.

The Reprobates were founded in 2011 by Wyld. He founded the team way too late and was unable to take part in the league. Thus, the Champions League was founded to allow the Reprobates to have some games. Slowfish was punished for nonparticipation and was replaced in the January transfer window by my good self. I recall the ugly side of third party ownership rearing its ugly head as Spartak offered me to the Totem Poles in return for claiming the best player from that team for the following season in return for recruitment services.

Before the beginning of the 2012 season, Wyld failed to report for pre-season training. He was summarily numptified by me and I put together an elite force of fantasy footballers under my Strong and Stable leadership. Wyld eventually turned up and a bloody legal battle ensued. The formation of "The Reprobates" never materialised and Wyld disappeared into Wyld Force or some other team. The founder of the Reprobates is an enigmatic character and there are still folk tales that claim he is still pulling the strings behind the scene.

Fookes then didn't turn up for 2013 and was replaced with Gingermonkey. Toffeelover retired the following year and was replaced with kingcurtly. The team has been stable since until this recent summer when Gingermonkey stepped aside and Ardrageen stepped in. Although there has been a degree of underachievement in the league, silverware is in the trophy cabinet.

Just some idle banter. No disrespect intended. The Compadres were very worthy winners last year and you managed to assemble a very capable squad.

Ardrageen is indeed a fine capture and we're very lucky to have him.

Yeah, not that it matters but we didn't really assemble a squad as such, we took the first applicants in the order they applied in. The only diversion from that was holding a place for MoSe until he decided is all. So it wasn't really a 'galactico' operation at all. The only thing we wanted was that every manager was active on FISO so we could communicate well.

It helped us that snakzz had such a great season. The rest of us just managed to do enough to get the team home.

It was good and he did threaten the same this year earlier in this thread - however the lack of responses may have put him off ... maybe we could provide a bit more encouragement

I remember being all signed up for the KBs with about a week to go before the season, before your infamous rebellion (and the rumours of unrest) made me reconsider. A message from Mo and a cheeky poaching later and the rest is history.
