We're currently one match away from ending the 7th event of the Decathlon, and as that match involves Man City and Everton it's quite possible there's still a lot of measuring still to be done. A reminder first of the scoring for this one.

Event 7: GW23, 24, 25

Points: Total BPS for whole squad converted to a distance
(All 15 Squad members included - Captain's points NOT doubled/tripled)
Foul: Foul throw if any of the squad's 1st 11 gets either a Red Card, an Own Goal or a Penalty Miss
Distance (m) = 37 + (0.2 x FactoredPoints)

The Pole Vault begins in week 27 but before then all athletes will need to nominate their starting height/target (as per the High Jump). Full instructions to follow but in the meantime feel free to post targets.

The rules of the Pole Vault are as follows:

1. Prior to the FPL deadline time of each GW which is represented by a round of the High Jump, each athlete is required to pick a Target height - a gameweek score - which they must equal or exceed to clear the equivalent height.
2. For round 1 any target may be selected, however athletes are encouraged to be mindful of point 4b below.
3. Any athlete not picking a target prior to the deadline of round 1 will be scored as a failed jump.
4. For round 2, the rules around target setting depend on your round 1 result
4a. If you cleared your round 1 height, you must pick a further target for round 2 greater than your round 1 target. Failure to pick a round 2 target would be considered a fail.
4b. If you set a height but failed to clear your round 1 height, you are automatically provisionally given the same target for round 2. If that is acceptable no further action is required, however athletes may raise the bar should they wish. Lowering their target is not permitted.
4c. If no target was selected for round 1, any target may be selected for round 2, but a further failure to select a target would again be counted as a fail.
5. For round 3, the rules are similar but referring back to round 2 results.
6. The highest height cleared will win the event.
7. Note that three failures by an athlete will result in zero decathlon points being awarded to them.

When posting your target, please ensure you quote the post immediately prior to yours so as to avoid any target being missed.
