Next!
I can't believe the start I've had. But still a long way to go yet before I can get beyond the group stage.
Good luck, pulpy

It's very fine margins with these groups, two loss and you could be well down in the section.
Just a lil warning, I'm having terrible problems with my broadband so I may have issues with posting the tables, but hopefully all will be well.

Hmm thanks but an own goal, sending off and goals conceded could yet swing it your way. Never over till it's over and stranger things have happened in football.
Good luck for the rest of the season and bring in Alonso soon.

FISO Cup 2018/19 - GW4 Results
GW4 RESULTS >>> FISO CUP RESULTS CENTRE
70 magical points for Stemania saw him make it not just four wins on the trot, but reach the dizzy heights of 255 in the world. Ste is sitting very pretty in Group F with a six point margin over the chasing pack of Tall Paul, Oxford NZ and Hayesag.
Only three other managers enjoy such an advantage at the top of their sections after four games. Mistaken_Identity is one of them, flying high in the single Starting XI group where it already looks like SuarezPower is down and out. TFO leads a strong Group I also by six, though he wasn't half fortunate this week, playing the only manager of the six to have a worse performance in GW4, bottom place Gio.
Group B has played witness to that rarest of things - a decent start for your master of ceremonies, Tacalabala. Snakzz is second and will provide the toughest examination of my credentials yet when we go head-to-head after the international break...
GW3's man of the moment, Darkish is pushing Stemania to reach the highest summit in the Fantasy world, but Wahine managed to nick a point off him this weekend to shatter his perfect record in Group Q.
It was Baganboy who made the biggest bang this week, 72pts all out, and not before time as this secured his first win of what has otherwise been an underwhelming campaign in Group A. BB will no doubt point out he is actually outscoring the section leader, Ironfist, who has the dubious honour of being the worst ranked group leader as it stands. They face-off in less than a fortnight's time.
And finally, Stena Bib's season has taken a decidely strange detour. #3827 globally he may be, but Maldini made it two defeats from four for our man in Spain. Beerfuelledman is top of the mini-league despite only being the fourth best scorer so far from this six!

When Leicester was winning and leading the PL did you say it was a "dubious honour"? Re: FISO Cup 2018/19 - GW4 Results
that's the spirit
In all the years I've been doing these competitions, I always think being a low scoring winner is a special achievement, it's a fine mix of under the radar consistency, a banging run of form during the knockouts, and dumb luck. I can't recall the season, but Surprised winning that Spring division when he was bottom half way through was fantastic and hilarious.

I have a reasonable chance of climbing to 2nd out of 5 in Group U. Just noticed we are playing each other twice , so plenty of time to recover if I don't move to 2-2 this weekend.

FISO Cup 2018/19 - GW5 Results
GW5 RESULTS >>> FISO CUP RESULTS CENTRE
Five games down, five to go in qualifying for the FISO Cup.
Stemania, now 289 in the world, maintains his 100% record in Group F with a clear victory over Oxford NZ, opening up a massive nine point lead in doing so.
No one enjoys such a big lead at this stage, though there are a handful who still hold a perfect record at the halfway stage. Undoubtedly the most surprising of them is Beerfuelledman who, despite a rank just over 85k, is holding his own and out in front of RuudTheDudeVanTheMan and Stena Bib in Group P, both in the top 10k and yet struggling to match BFM in this head to head contest.
Starting XI's Mistaken_Identity has failed to keep a low profile, but has put himself in a very good position to progress as SXI's sole representative in the Cup Finals.
Vsz has stamped his authority over Group J holding a six point advantage over his nearest challengers Wizardoffire and Nevblake, who he defeated in GW5 79-49. For the five team groups, this is the only time before the end where all teams have played the same number of games, and this reveals Ajcairns to be setting the standard in Group T, four wins from four and due to face bottom place Owenclass next while Curwinkle and Frattonender, 2nd and 3rd in the section, will steal points off each other one way or another.
Tacalabala completes the lineup of perfectionists, and with two going through in Group B, a nine point lead over Snakzz in 3rd feels very good! Goooner, now 2nd overall within the Cup, is being pushed all the way by the defending champ Ardrageen in Group W, will that still be the case when they meet in GW9?
Elsewhere, Hodi is the clear headliner in terms of ranking in Group L but two draws against the chasing pair of Asm_fanz and Gingafalcao in recent weeks means he is far from sure of qualifying. Group G, the General Zone's top ranking group, sees Pulpy maintain his place at the top, but DAREEL fronts a frightening bevvy of talent to ensure the minileague will go to the wire.

Group H is looking quite tight! After 3 defeats on the bounce I have managed to win my last 2 matches, so only 3 points separates myself at the bottom and 1st! Could be too little too late for me though..

Stemania might be dominating our group, but the race for second is unbelievable, with every player having 2 wins. 3rd to 5th are separated by just 3 FPL points!
