The FISO Divisional Championships (aka "Divisionals")
-
are a Competition, as the name itself suggests,
based on a hierarchical format with several Divisions at different levels,
bound together by the principle of promotion and relegation between them- the competition is based upon the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Fantasy Football game
- to play the FISO Divisionals, you need:
- to be a FISO member
- to have entered a valid FPL Team for the current FPL season (not necessarily since GW1 tho)
- a Divisionals Season is divided into several Rounds (FPL call them "Phases", which are actually Months)
unlike FPL Phases, which length is variable, each Divisionals Round encompasses 5 FPL Gameweeks
- unlike the FPL Season and Phases, a Round is not a subordinate part within an "overall" competition:
every and each Round is a full and complete competition in itself:
- every Round will crown a Champion, each one deserving the same importance and honour as the others
- at the end of each Round, Promotions and Relegations will determine new Divisions for the next Round
- The Divisionals scoring is entirely based upon and mirrors the FPL scoring of your Team
Classic Leagues scoring: the Round score is the sum of the 5 Gameweek Points in a Round
FPL rules for Phases scoring do apply as well, in exactly the same way:
- Transfer Costs cause a Point Deduction from your score during a Round
- NO deduction will be applied for any number of Transfers you make before a Round
it officially started with Round 1 on FPL GW4
Latecomers can still join anytime, with the season underway
they'll enter in the bottom Division, starting with the next available Round
