Re: FISO Cup 2017/18 - GW18 RESULTS - FINAL GW19 ALBERT_INI v ARDRAGEEN
Well played in our semi-final match, Ardrageen. I really thought I had it in the bag at one stage, but the better man won through in the end
Thanks for organising this, Tacalabala.

Congrats Ardrageen! Even a nice 92 point score wasn't enough so you victory was well deserved!

GW19 RESULTS - ARDRAGEEN WINS!
GW19 RESULTS - https://goo.gl/photos/zE9eP8bjzGv9vHgbA
After 18 weeks and 622 head to head games, the destiny of the FISO Cup came down to the final match, pitting Albert_ini against Ardrageen in the last round of fixtures before the festive period.
Both made one change, Al bringing in Raheem Sterling for David Silva while Ard called on the services of Phil Jones in place of Charlie Daniels. That left just five differences between the two teams, which was further narrowed as they shared United (Smalling/Jones) and Chelsea (Alonso / Christensen), and with none of them contributing in attack or receiving a booking, that left a very tight possible result indeed. Loftus-Cheeks's 7pts for Al was well received, but then Dunk matched that as well for Ard.
So, what clinched it? Well, Al must have felt confident when captain Sterling produced the goods in the 3pm games... but Ard took a punt on the frequently disappointing Harry Kane and this time it paid off spectacularly, and with a hat trick and full bonus that was enough to take the title. What a finish, 97-92 with both scores very nearly in the weekly top 150k, it was a fitting end to the tournament.
Congratulations to Ardrageen, and commiserations to Albert_ini, you could not have got much closer!
Also in action were Roga and Jeffmcgow in the third place playoff. Gross and Otamendi won it for Roga as both captained Sterling in another entertaining affair.
