Thought I'd messed up my entry having entered over a week ago before going on hols. But no, I just scored 0 points yesterday :D

First bit of banter on a rather boring thread so far. So given that there's presumably only a minority of us who've entered the Fiso Lesgue who actually know what they're doing in this comp, I'll stick in my own ignorant twopennyworth.

As per Spencer, most of us find different ways to mess up most of our fantasy entries, be it football or anything else. Mine was to leave my selection until lunchtime yesterday when my major concern was what did 15.00 CEST actually mean.

I was happy with the bulk of my team and when I read that riders could be changed up until the off I had the brilliant idea that I wouldn't bother too much about my "makeweights" as I could enter the Fiso league, have a quick look at other peoples' teams and then in the last few minutes change them to the low cost flavours of the day, (looking at others' teams now, Kung who I'd never heard of, seems to be the main Fiso recommendation). Unfortunately my plan was scuppered by riders being "hidden", and it was too late for a detailed examination of Oddschecker etc, but with Valverde and others crashing out perhaps I'll fluke a winning team.

Roglic hit the deck hence his time. Unfortunate as I put him in hoping he'd be in yellow today, send I picked the wrong all rounder...

That was a disaster day for me and Le Tour.
I lost Izaguirre. But the race lost 2 top mountain attackers.I fear that it will be 3 weeks of bunch sprints and Skybot control-yawn.
I think Roglic was told to ride conservatively after 2 of his team mates,Groenewegen and Bennet, both took spectacular falls in suicide corner

I didn't realise Roglic had an off too. I changed my climber/all rounder combo 5 times on Friday, Roglic only made my team with the last version.

Dan Martin or Majka was a puzzler too.

I doubt there's many teams without Sagan, he'll have to work a bit harder for the green jersey this year but he should still breeze it.

I'm just happy that my squad lined up this morning. A bit of peleton carnage might make it interesting over what looks like a fairly dull course this year.

My team is greatest show on turf.

True to form had the main casualty already - lost valv, and roglic also down

Also had Dan Martin a few years back when he fell in a gt opening tt.

As per usual, The Master leads the way. Peoples has pushed in to the top 500. The rest lie below the 1000.
Well done to Count Darchi on sneaking in a stage win in the FISO league.
Early days and I'm on the podium but see it as an uphill struggle from now on. 7 of my 9 riders have points on the board. Avoiding those zero's is half the battle.

Nice one Jimmy. :D

If only I'd realised that avoiding zero's was half the battle ... 6 of my 9 riders are on Zero and Valverde has gone home ...
I thought I was doing quite well

Got Nils Pollit in the break today so that's my 4 pointer off the mark should he make it another 40km to the feed station. Picked him as he was in 3 breaks in the Dauphine.

This year I avoided the hat trick of picking Eduardo Sepulveda. 14 points last year was a vast improvement on the zero of 2015 when he was chucked out of the race for getting a lift mid stage in a team car.

Ridiculous decision and not just because I have Sagan(and Cav unfortunately). What's the natural reaction to being knocked off balance whilst travelling at 60kph?

My weird dream came true. I knew there was a Kittel Katch to it. After having Sagan at 4 credits a few seasons ago, 22 credits was too much for me. Kittel was too tempting. It got Froome in to my team. Sagan and Valverde just didn't sound as strong as Froome and Kittel.

Super Confex took FISO's Stage 3 and as it stands at the moment, Pathetico Athletico took Stage 4.

Sagan
I know - I was jokingly asking if I could appeal on his behalf to save my Tour.

To be fair, even though I am a Cav fan and, let's say, I admire Sagan more than like him, I think it was harsh and no more than riding without due care and attention.

You could ask the 2 FDJ riders (and the lot that ploughed into them) that Sagan* had knocked off a few minutes before?

I'm pretty sure it was him, but his other incident has taken precedent with no clips online.

After a 3 way tie on the FISO podium in stage 5, (Dorset Cereal Speedfest, Back in the High Life, Where`s the Peloton Gone), Count Darchi recorded his second stage victory in stage 6.

Lee Van Cleat took the FISO 7th stage. It also took him past Peoples in the Overall.
..........and SPR, you're are sitting 5th, just over 100 points off the podium. You're still in it. :D
