Could be like finding Fabio Aurelio representing your team in place of Andrea Dossena...
7 Marcos Baghdatis (withdrawn) 0

I await my Aurelio....
Baghdatis withdrew long before the deadline, so it may well be a 0 there
Although his replacement was apparently beck, who just knocked out the first seed, winning the 5th set 10-8

I saw that too but the BBC page has it down as 6-1 6-2 6-2 so it should have just been an 18 pointer. Hopefully they won't notice... :?

Canas should have 28 points (18 games won + 10pts for straight sets). They seem to have scored his match twice so the loser must also have 2*not much.

I forgot about the 10 points for straight sets, that makes sense with the doubling. I knew there was no way I could have scored so well  I wonder if they'll notice (or if someone who doesn't have him will have to email them first... :x )

They seem to be making a few mistakes. Yesterday I mailed them cos they forgot about Razzano's bonus 10 points for a straight sets win.

I'll let you do the honourable thing DrB

My 'stars and donkeys' approach is working OK so far. 5/5 stars through and 2/5 donkeys for 116th.

1 Serena Williams (2) 23
2 Venus Williams (3) 22
3 Jelena Jankovic (6) 23
4 Svetlana Kuznetsova (5) 23
5 Marion Bartoli (12) 32
6 Elena Baltacha (WC) 15
7 Laura Robson (WC) 12
8 Kimiko Date Krumm (WC) 11

9 Michelle Larcher De Brito (WC) 23
10 Melanie South (WC) 11

My men are 891st out of 978 8-)

The only way is up as the famed fantasy tennis guru Yazz once said.

I lost a quarter of my players in the first round. Not too disappointed by any other than Youhzny though, who I thought may have done OK. Lost my Japanese girl in the last match of the evening which was a little disappointing after she won the first set easily 6-2. Currently about 210th.

I noticed that after round one K. Vliegen had been stroked off my list of players so I assumed that he had lost. I now see that he is on court playing Vadasco. !!!

It's a shame so many people will have picked Victoria "probable double bagel" Azarenka. There'll be a fair few points coming for her.

Anyone pick Tsonga?? Through, but with 0pts  (opponant retired)

Also, surprised a few of you had Youhzny seeing as his first round match was against grass coust specialist and former top 10 Juan Carlos Ferrero (who i backed incidently  ). Poor work lads :P
