Tennis bracket/team fantasy

I recently found a site, which offers sort of a fantasy tennis, but a bit different:

1) Firstly, you predict the whole bracket for the tournament. For example, for Roland Garros, after the draw is complete, you predict how the whole tournament will play out and when it starts they calculate points based on how correct are your predictions.

2) You pick few players (for Roland Garros you had to pick 7, for other tournaments it is mostly 4). There is also a limit of 8 tournaments for each player in a single tennis season (in other words, the same player can only be used in 8 different tournaments).

Everyone welcome to register. Would be interesting how everyone does at this - they offer not only Grand Slam tournaments, but also the regular ones. So next ones for ATP will be Stuttgart and Hertongenbosch and for WTA Nottingham and Hertongenbosch. (predictions for these can be made from 4th to 6th June)

At least I ended up in split 1st place with my Hertongenbosch WTA team, didn't do that good with brackets or other teams though.

Ah, picked Muguruza for Mallorca tournament in both bracket to go far there and team, even though I did feel there is a big chance of her losing and was willing to bet on it too (odds were about 6.0) - way to go against gut feeling

I have created brackets and teams for Wimbledon, and joined the group (as Dester - now there are four of us!), although I don't fully understand the workings.

I did this after entering my TFFdreamteam selections, but can see the brackets being a really useful way of helping TFF entries in the future, even if I don't enter for any of the other ATP/WTA events.

Yeah, this is just for fun anyway. I mean at least while we have such small numbers. If there would be more than 10 participants then I might post some tables here for each tournament we play etc. And it is actually quite hard to follow it all the time if one wants to play all tournaments in calendar year, not only the big ones.

I agree about brackets - helps me out when picking for TFF too


About the whole points system etc -

Basically each our prediction earns some points if you get it correct, getting one finalist correct earns 20 points in Grand Slam for example. After each match ends they will color your predictions either green or red, based on the outcome (green=correct).

Whoa, I'm actually in 1st place at the moment for ATP brackets (split 1st place with 3 others) - didn't get only Pouille and Querrey correct for quarterfinals (actually wanted to pick Querrey in both fantasy teams, but thought that he is playing against Djokovic quite early )

Yeah it's possible to join in, hope you enjoy it. It is quite easy actually - you only have to make your picks in bracket/team selection time, The hardest thing is not to miss that time . Sadly I only found this few months ago, if we would have played this from the beginning of the year, might even fight for top 3 overall where you can get cash prizes.

I like to follow tennis and once in a while bet on it, so this is quite fun and helps me test my form in predicting.
