Hard to pick this week. From last year's thread it looks like you have to try to avoid picking teams that go deep into the playoffs too early so as not to pick up the 30pt default loss at the end of the game. I actually quite like the Jags against the probably Romo-less Cowboys, but if so it should only be a narrow loss.

Maybe, but they're unlikely to get a team as poor as the Bears in the PO.

The NFC is looking a little crap right now... two of the top three seeds as it stands have lost their QB for the season, and there's a division that could be won with 8-8 or worse. Although there's a few teams that still have the potential to hit their stride in the later part of the season.

The AFC on the other hand, 11 teams with winning records, and a 6-4 team in last place in their division!

If you got to the playoffs with only 4 playoff teams left to choose, but they all happen to be the teams with byes in the Wildcard round, could you nevertheless pick one of them in order to score 0 points and avoid the 30 point deduction? Obviously there's no guarantee you wouldn't still get a 30 point deduction in either or both of the Championship and Superbowl rounds if the bye teams happen to go out early.
