This is the 4th Year of this particular SuperBru competition.
I rather fortuitously have won all three years of this, although its getting more difficult each year ... this year we are guaranteed a new Champion ...

Table of Winners so far, and schedule for the coming season is as follows:

round 1: Dubai was won convincingly by Metal Warlord ... for the third year in a row!!

Nice work!! This year the new format requires you to guess the Margin of victory as well as the outcome, and offers a much more interesting competition.
If you don't get off to a good start you can make it up later in the competition by guessing the margins ... this was not the case in the past, so things looking good.

Also, as a reminder to anyone new to the game ... there is a limited nuumber of default picks which become available if you fail to predict in time.
This is useful unless you blow all your default picks in the first competition (as I did this year)

Well done, Metal Warlord

round 3: Sydney was won by Boddington (2nd consecutive win) ... from usual suspects ... Metal Warlord and Trampie ... looking alarmingly like a three horse race ...

round 4: Wellington was won by harumph ... you guessed it ... Boddington (3rd consecutive win) ... with ... Mick MacP rising like a Pheonix out of the ashes to eventually get a full weekend's predictions in, only to stumble at the last fence with Mark ... right alongside him ...

Image

Congrats to Boddington (once again), who with that third win eventually manages to pull alongside Metal Warlord to share the lead of the overall competition after 4 rounds.

Of Note: Superbru have Metal Warlord leading by 0.5 points, but on first and second count I cannot spot where they get their total from ... I will recheck again before I raise the issue with them.
