Carrick (inspiring) or Henry (saviour)
Ameobi (Alan who?)
Borghetti (hands in all important goals)
Taylor (match winner)
Taylor (Brummie keeper)
I got Carrick, Kewell and Ameobi right; I don't understand how you can give a mid-table attacker at home against a relegation threateened defence MOTM, when he didn't score or assist in a goal.

The Portsmouth and Bolton ones I fell asleep through on MOTD, so I cant really note.

And Benayoun was the second most popular FISO vote, so thats probably fair as well. Still think it should have Hasselbaink.

FA Cup MOTM

Yossi Benayon (West Ham) by Tim Rich
Harry Kewell (Liverpool) by Henry Winter

1 min after you Duke G! I'd agree with both of these.

Go to Sport Telegraph and then click on Football and then FA Cup on the left hand side.

I knew about Reina, but the other two are news to me. Did Drogba get booked for celebrating? Otherwise I watched the only game and didn't see anything worth booking him for.

Part from the dive.

Kewell, perfect  , After seeing Henry was on the bench, I decided to go for a different striker in my motm team (who ddint score), which quite pleased me because it meant that I could now afford Gerrard instead of who I was going to put in, Kewell, as my other transfer  . Got to love FF :)

What game was Mr.Davies watching? Wigan were fantastic, maybe not creating that many chances but they controlled the game, mom imo should have been either bullard, baines or roberts.

The parts of the game I watched Malbranque was playing well, good control, excellent passing. Outstanding Fulham player. Bullard was good for Wigan. I think the goal made the difference, if Bullard scored he would have got MOTM.

The reporters seem to place emphasis on who scores the goal/s for MOTM. Look at Rooney v Spurs the other week, not the best player, two simple finishes but still gets MOTM. :?

Surely it's got to be reviewed, they have to ask the paying public their views on the MOTM. Personally I think the value should be reduced to 3 points first of all and stop turning braces into hat-ticks! :x

...totally negating a supposed purpose of MOTM points, namely to reward unheralded players who aren't rewarded by the traditional points system.

On the other hand i'm delighted

Watched the game and didn't agree with the Telegraph man of the match, had to be a Wigan player, but as Coleman said at the end 'I don't give a monkeys'

Transfered Malbranque in for Nolan last night.
