Surely Friday's MOM would have been in Saturday's paper. It's only the Sunday paper that's "separate" to the main "Daily Telegraph" isn't it, hence both Sat and Sun reports appear on Monday.

I think its odds on that the Sunderland keeper will get it, but I guess you are waiting for official confirmation to update your site.

Ill be the first to congratulate Frank Lampard on his first MOTM of the season I believe.

Im extremely chuffed with all of them. If tomorrow goes well enough I may see a 100 point week, which will surely keep me 2nd in the s.league.

Sorry, it's his second. Just reward for those who've kept the faith though.

I never got to see a copy of Saturday's paper, but yes, it is the Daily Telegraph and should certainly have had a report on the game in it. There is a report by William Johnson on the website, but it doesn't have the MotM at the bottom like all the other weekend reports by DTel reporters do.

Lucky 7's: I'm not waiting to update my site as such, that will come on Wednesday morning as usual, but it would be nice to know. I wonder if anyone has Mr Johnson's email address?

I thought so as well, but I found out on Friday that my superleague leader didn't have him, and so im not going to moan.

Maybe the tele are trying to create a tight finish. Have to say that I have seen matches where an obvious Henry MotM hasn't been given so this evens things out though. Most around me agreed that he had one of his quieter days. Was impressed by Curtis Davies' marking of him in the first half, looks a good prospect.

We can add this to the number of conspiracy theories about what the Tele is doing "deliberately".

do you really think that they would influence the outcome of a MOTM award to create tension around the country as to who finishes top of TFF??

Bit gutted Baros didn't get one after an inspired transfer yesterday...

But I didn't see the match so can't complain.

I said 'maybe' (not deliberate) as a response to TSO saying it was dubious and that it affected the top two. I also said it evens things out, so can't be accusing the tele of something underhand. I passed on the opinion of those comments i heard at the match and I gave a reason why IMO i.e Davies marking him well. If you took that as accusing the Tele of 'deliberate' tactics then you took it wrong.

Watched the Manure game, would agree on the RVN KC, Park's KC is a close one, I would say yes, as it looked like his toe not Lee's that pushed it to Rooney.

Speculative MOTM , VDS :?:

I wonder whether Lampard was too far out? Looked about 25 yards?

FL shot was from outside the box, does this automatically negate a KC, hope not! Drogba deserves it, superb tracking back and tackle.

Hmm, you might be right although Drogba's involvement was key IMO.
