gallas (gallas from open play hit the bar) and terry finished from the rebound. can't see a kc being given imo.
If it's as you describe then Gallas will get a KC - the woodwork is equivalent to the keeper in that it doesn't cancel KCs.

Gallas will get a KC - his shot hit the bar and went direct to Terry.

if so , is it possible that essien could be awarded one for his pass into gallas?

Drogba is nailed on for MOTM and one assist, but does he get one for Crespos goal? His ball across was deflected by Collins of WHU. Is there a hard and fast rule?

If it takes a deflection off a defender that significantly alters the path of the ball, then no KC. 9/10 if a pass deflects off a defender than no KC is given, however if contact was minimal (brush) and the path of the ball was not altered then a KC will be given.

God that hurts

Chelsea 4 Hammers 1
Drogba ( )
Crespo (Drogba)
Terry (Gallas)
Gallas (Drogba)
Collins (Benayoun)

West Ham were awful after a great start, leading 1-0 and Chelsea down to 10 after Maniche sent off, they just didn't compete after Chelsea got level. Missed Ferdinand big time
Thought the Hammers had left performances like this behind.

Drogba stayed on his feet most of the time and should be MOTM.
One biased whinge is that ref fell for dives by Essien and Robben to book Harewood and Konchesky

I'd expect Rooney to get the nod for MOTM. He had some great chances but Lehmann was having a great game.

If not Rooney it'll be one of United's back four (Vidic most likely).

I think the deflection on Drogba's cross was significant enough to rule out a KC, I'm sure there are similar precedents.

And for Ameobi's goal it looked like the defender's leg that got the last touch before he scored, although the replays weren't great and I didn't get a look in slow-mo.
