Bramernic wrote:I personally thought it would be Southgate. I've got Young, so that would have been a nice bonus. I do remember Holland being mentioned a few times by JP, but he didn't stand out as much as the defenders.
Bram My Choice would be Chris Perry. Just goes to show how subjective it all is and that is more exagerated when its a 0-0 when there are no goals (or many outstanding saves to consider like the Liverpool/Charlton game).

If its any consolation Holland did have one of his best games in a long time tho personally i would have gone for any number of defenders before him to be honest.

No Crouch KC IMO. Garcia did too much and from too far out.

Don' think Finnan will get a KC for Kewell's long range effort either.

There is no way Alonso wont get it. If its anyone other than Alonso it will be incompetence of the highest order from the reporter.

You can read descriptions on the BBC site for what that is worth (this thread is for people that have seen goals only so unless anybody is watching overseas or on dodgy websites then nobody will know).

Marginally agree with Alonso. I thought Sissoko ran him pretty close though, so wouldn't be that shocked if he got it. Might depend on whether the reporter is more a fan of technique and pretty passes or blood and guts tackling and running.

This farce is growing by the hour.

Someone has obviously changed something today. I suppose it could be someone who doesn't know what the decision was, but why bother actually changing a ? to TBA? I'm confident that I was given the right information last night - Matt Holland if you haven't read the earlier posts - so quite what failure of communications has gone on is beyond me.

First guess on the Chelsea game (not being a TFF xpert)

Drogba(Gudjohnsen) (although Drogba might have done too much)

Drogba(Lampard) and possibly an other who I did't see.

Joe Cole Booked and subbed

MOTM is anybody's guess but in the absence of any outstanding contributions I would go for Lampard or Drogba

There was a shot from 25yds which was going well wide. Lamps headed it on and Drogs was was there with his hands and feet to nail it. It could have been JT

We really will have to wait until we hear from someone whose seen the match. I was listening to 5-live who were more interested in Drogba than how it got to him. Lampard took the corner and then according to the printed reports Terry may (or not) have headed it. It was then (apparently) saved. The assists i've seen given so far are Carvalho (later corrected BBC), Del Horno, and Joe Cole.

These are not even KC's to make it even more pointless. Frustating though - wasn't anyone there

Bram,re your latest MOM post above,
Presumably the MOM name was sent by the Tele to GFM after GFM's office had closed for the weekend ! When I saw early this afternoon that "TBA" had been inserted,in place of the ?,I e-mailed them my views via "Contact Us" that they would lose a lot of TFF entries next August,if they don't get this ridiculous situation sorted out very quickly, but I don't expect a reply until about Monday lunchtime, probably informing me that "this announcement will be made next Wednesday"even though it will already have been on the TFF website for several hours by then no doubt.

CHE 2 MAN 0

Drogba (Gudjohnsen)

Drogba (Corner from Lampard, header from Terry saved
and Cleared by Defender, THEN
Joe Cole passed(shot?) Del Horno diverted ball to Drogba
and Carvalho MIGHT have got a flick on.

So to sum up Del Horno will get a KC and either Carvalho OR Joe Cole

Will not be all three

And apparantly Drogba controlled the ball with his hand???

And he's just admitted it,in a R5L interview,as well as admitting that he dives - it's all part of the game of football,he said, shamelessly !

No probs , unfortunately I wasn't there but I did see it courtesy of RTE.

Apologies, I thought it was lamps that headed it on . These foreign TV channels!!!

That's a bit mean Bear. I think it's fair to say Chaser got off to an erratic start 2 or so years ago but he's actually very reliable in his assessments now and I take notice of them
